I wake up each day and the headlines the same
And no-one needs reminding of this little girls name,
We all know that Maddie still hasn't been found
And whoever took her, they sure went underground
What angers me more is that her parents are free
They committed the ultimate crime it's plain to see
They left their kids vulnerable and unprotected
So someone could sneak in and take her undetected
Its time they were charged with the crime of neglect
As a warning to those who fail to respect
That as parents we've all got a privileged role
To take care of our kids as our ultimate goal
As far as I'm concerned they can go rot in hell
And what happened to Maddie? lets hope time will tell!!!
