I took time out because things were said
Filling my mind with thoughts of dread
Imagining just what others can see
Wondering what they thought of me

Thinking like that made me drift from you
Not wanting to go but felt i had to
To think about if im doing right
God! its kept me awake at night

I thought about laughs and odd tear
I smiled as i reminised over the year
I remembered that very first PM
I laffed at you getting addiced to Gen

I giggled at codes that me and you had
I chuckled at names u called me, ur bad!
TF and FF are just two of the few
Names that ive been called by you

Trying very hard not to stay in bed
Praying these thoughts leave ur head
Feeling really miserable, feeling blue
Wondering each day just what to do

Staring at the ceiling looking at walls
Listening to the rain imagining waterfalls
Thinking of the fun days thats gone by
Thoughts of bad days and asking why

Different reminder music on the ipod
Tears gently falling, what a soppy sod
Huffing and sighing and moping around
Trying to get used to unfamiliar ground

Fretting at the fact you know its been a while
Longing for that person that made you smile
Pushing the mind to think positive again
Picturing things to release this pain






CONT:

We all have days when we feel this way
Struggling just to get through the day
I for one know that feeling too well
Days when all we do is dwell

Fighting to pull yourself from that strop
Knowning realistically its got to stop
Seeing, hearing, reminders all day
Images and thoughts wont go away

Relentlessly stop fighting the feeling
Its only leaving the heavy mind reeling
Only really one thing we all can do
Think about it good and think this through

I'm not letting go ever again
To put myself thru that pain

FISHCAKE/S

Fishcakes

Golden crumbs on the outside, and fluffy inside
Eat them on their own, or with chips on the side
These wonderful things, sure are a treat
One of the tastiest morsels, that you'll ever eat
When I think to myself, "what on earth can I make"
The first thing I think of, is a lovely fishcake
You can make them yourself, go on, give it a try
But I love the ones that are made by "Birds Eye"
The exquisite aroma, they make, when they're cooking
I just can't help salivating, as I stand there just looking
Watching the timer on the oven, as the clock ticks by
As the time draws closer, ooooooh I can't wait to try
Finally they're done, as I'm sat by the table
Restraining myself, as much as I'm able
Then in front of me, they are sat on the plate
Here endeth this poem, it's time that I ate.

Come on PPL dont be shy, do me a poem!

Now this is about, the man, with black leather gloves
Who delivers chocolates , to the woman he loves
He appears out of the darkness, in the dead of night
And deposits the Choccies, without a hint of a fright
He looks at her sleeping, and puts down the box
As she lies there dreaming, about devouring his chocs
Then as quick as a flash, just as she starts to stir
He hears the helicopter blades starting to whirrrr
He leaps out of the window, and slides down the rope
If she had woken, she might have had a grope
Now he has fled, leaving her to summarise
Why this mysterious man, has left a surprise
But only he knows, the love he has will never stray
That?s why he dropped off the box of Milk Tray

My Paula

I woke up this morning, and after a while
I managed to bring to myself, a little smile
Thoughts of a girl, were running through my head
As I just lay there, all warm, in my cosy old bed
Thoughts of last night, which started in a muddle
And ended all good, with a hug and a cuddle
Paula my love, do you know why I'm so keen
You give something to me, you know what I mean
Last night, when we talked, we laughed and we cried
Went through all these emotions, just to say we were tied
You said NO Justsumgirl without Stellaman
Well you'll survive without me, you know that you can
But I'm going nowhere, of that please be sure
Because what we have got, there is no known cure
Its something so special, so magic and alive
And its on that special SOMETHING, we will always survive
