Not been on here in quite a while,
missed many people that make me laugh n smile,
so thought id logged on here today,
thought leave it any longer id be old n gray.
Dam computer course has had me pullin out my hair,
driving me crazy sat on this bloomin hard chair,
so i thought id pop on to say hello,
before i got back to this boring life that i know.

Once upon a time in a place far away
A man lived there and he didnt want to stay.
So after three weeks he packed his bags...
And said goodbye to all the town hags.

He never saw his sweetheart again,
And had to sell his lovely pet hen.
So after he left, he tried to look back.
And never felt such a fearsome lack...

Of emotional disturbance from the place he loved so much
He had to get back, this is only a hunch.
He packed his bags and got on the plane.
He finally returned and lived happily again.

Well i was published in a national book at age 10...

Relationships are for future emotional wrecks.
Unfortunately it goes downhill after bad **x.
People need to learn to love and not hate.
Then all relationships will be great!

Most current people are up for one-night-stands.
Not for me... im a loving man.
After an ONS you try to avoid her,
But see her and have a very good spur...

Of the moment idea, I know what to do!
Ill show everyone i can squeeze through
A tennis racquet in loads of drag
Lets hope im not noticed by that hag.

She doesnt see me... im happy now.
I can move on, get back to my farm and plough.
No more one-night-stands for me.
Time for a relationship full of glee!!!

I posted this one on the Valentine's Day thread, so it's my most recent one. But I've been asked to compose an original one for my graduation, so when I get that finished, I'll post it here, if that's okay!


It's my only chance to speak my mind;
For me to look in my heart, and find
The strength to say that I've fallen prey
To that spell that's only been hear-say
Thus far to myself, at least, though now
It's clear as day, and I will allow
My soul to sing like it tends to do
When you find out that he loves you, too.

They said love's just a four-letter word.
"Nothing to write home on," they assured.
But I see now: The truth wasn't said;
They fear love because their hearts have bled;
Gave out pieces they couldn't afford
And had them dissolve, or worse, ignored.
You fear love because it robs you blind;
It hits you when your back's turned, you'll find.
Ensnares your senses, love, like magic
Which is why people must think it's tragic.

But me? Well, I think I like the thrill,
When your heart beats so hard, then goes still;
When your head's fuzzy, your soul aflame;
When you think of nothing but his name;
When it's all you can do to think straight;
When you know that you were joined by fate.
It's things like this that give me great joy.
It's you that pulls at my heartstrings, boy.

This poem was composed just for you,
But someone told me to share it, too.
So, once again, I'm put on the spot;
Hope it's not too personal for this lot.
But you know, it IS a special day;
Those three words are being heard today.
So I thought: Why not? I'll speak my mind.
