FAB POEM BAB! Ya gettin better and better

I just came to say, that I have to opine
that the funkypool users sure know how to rhyme
about current events, and the days of the past
their rhythm is solid, from first line to last.
The lines they are flowing, the language is great
They post poems early, they post poems late
When the poem is posted, just then, then then then,
They go and tell Paula, who's on MSN.
But there's a palaver, oh what a to-do
She's been disconnected since twenty to two
She can't get back on, what terrible luck
She sits there exclaiming, a loud, angry...

Whats the day been all about
Not one message or tiny shout

I remember back when I was a newbie on here,
And I read through the forums, not posting through fear.
One day I posted a short little joke,
And noticed great poems from a certain cool bloke.
A proven intelectual, his rhyming was sure,
Posting great talent that this site had not seen before.
It was then I aspired to write some of my own,
And from that very point, my hobby had grown.
We posted together, day after day,
Poem after poem in our signature way.
I enjoyed sitting still and scrolling right down the page,
And reading his posts that would last for an age.
I wondered if poetry was this mans profession,
I looked at his technique and I sure learned a lesson.
Then suddenly 'Poof!' - great swing was gone,
And we didnt see his poetry for so very long.
But hopefully now he will post a few more,
And enlighten his readers as he did once before.
So dear Mr Swing, or should I call you sir?
I could call you something else, if you prefer?

She was meant to tread the water
But soon got TOO LOST in him
He really gave her SOMETHING
Brightend her days that had been dim
She said "I LOVE YOU" yanno that
And I DONT WANNA MISS A THING
NO ONE cud change the way she felt
She was attatched yet with NO STRINGS
FEELIN LOVE was a real feeling
Even though he was FAR AWAY
NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU
Are words he once did say
Shes now feeling very emotional
Her heart feels its really broke
