Can't wait till it comes in, cos my gameplay has detioriated with the animation it's untrue. Cost me rank and a tourny semi,.... happy days :-)

I think when you try and hit the ball lightly it registers as 'lag' and won't allow you to take the shot.

the last link you posted at the bottom- demo 6 i think. That 1 is completley different to what i am used to. Gentle touch on the mouse sends it harder than usual and a hard hit sees it rocketing around the table at a rate i havent seen before.

Just tried number 5 and thats exactly the same, if not quicker.

Im not convinced with demo 5, I think the white is too slow, need to hit it harder.

Ideally when you connect the cue with the ball you should see the ball roll away at the correct speed.

The shot speed is not taken into account when preventing lag, just the system being slow to respond. You should certainly still be able to cue slow, but you may need to pull the cue back a bit first.

If I do that, then pull forward very slowly the shot doesn't seem to register. My new trick, to move first straight up then diagonally to get a really light shot doesn't seem to work either!

Edit: I can still take light shots but I have to take them quickly. I can't go really slow or it doesn't take the shot.

Thats very good, i can get 4 pixel shots everytime on that.

The "lag" detection is excellent as well. I was loading a youtube clip while playing which triggered it, and would probably have cost me a foul previously. Nice one.

I like demo 7. you can move the ball barely at all which will make snookers more successful. I managed to trip the lag detection as well on one shot lol.

The pace is slightly different to what im used too but it gets the thumbs up from me

Yep demo 7 seems perfect. the only interesting thing that happened was that on my break shot the balls seemed to accellerate and take off!

7 deffo from me, best demo of the lot. Please add it Nick, the light shots are more spot on than previous demos, thumbs up now. :-) and i think most agree!

Right, this is live now. Any problems or thoughts please let me know.

Also animation is restored to how it was 5(?) days ago.

mine wasn't that slow 5 days ago, I have to move the mouse alot more to get full power now, i'll just have to try and get used to it.

Hate it at the moment but will give it a go for a few days then post again.
