Spring

Spring is here, what a wonderful thing,
Get up early to hear the birds sing,

Go out for a walk in the April showers,
Look around at the beautiful flowers,

Over in the fields the little lambs play,
Skipping and jumping on a warm April day,

Listen as the chicks start to cheep,
The mother is tired and trying to sleep,

Spring is my favourite time of year,
The sights and sounds fill me with cheer,

It's a time when everything comes to life,
It's a time when you can forget your strife

Ok title is: Gen chat

I love to eat pringles, I eat them every hour or two,
If I had to pick my favourite flavour it would be barbecue,

I like to eat them with a mate,
OMG these times are great,

Eat the lot, feel really fat,
Then I wear the tub as a hat

He's a bloke in the army that drinks lots of tea,
And likes to dunk biscuits....especially rich tea.
There's a menu of subjects hidden under his hat,
Paula will know him as........General Chat.

A poem a day is what I will post,
I know it's mine you love the most,

Without my poems this wouldn't survive,
I'm doing my bit to keep this thread alive,

I have a sore head from trying to think,
But if I stop Paula will kick up a stink,

Some are about things that happened to me,
Others are about things I would like to see,

I've written poems when I've been sad,
I've also done ones when I've been mad,

Some of my poems can be written with ease,
It's all worth while for the people I please,

I could carry on writing forever and a day,
They're my poems and I'll do them my way
