POEM THREAD

I miss this thread oh so much
Its the best thread by a mile,
Miss those with that special touch
Its the thread that makes me smile

Through the lines id sometimes read
Maybe type a poem of how i felt,
Id read thru it in an hour of need
Come across one that made me melt

Theres are some poems i hold so dear
And theres some that i regret,
Also some that show feelings clear
Then theres some ill never forget

Weve had poems thats been sad
From people of all races and creed
Plus happy ones thats made me glad
So its here where i shall plead

My plea is to you reading this thread
Please leave a line or maybe two,
I dont want this thread to end up dead
So i need some help from all of you

Make sumgirl happy and post a lil verse
Any words just type and then send,
They only thing that could be worse
Is if this thread comes to an end.

Lol I said that recently to this one girl because she's been jerking me around and stuff and she said she wasn't having fun and I said , "oh really, because I'm farting rainbows!"

Title: Sun

Sun

I looked into the sun this morning,
Not a good decision, my eyes are now burning,
I see black spots on a pink coloured background,
To get around, i'll just have to listen for a sound,
The sun it burns, some more then others,
So wear a nice hat, not something looking like feather dusters,
The sun is bad, when you least expect it you find yourself burnt,
And the remedy is lame, what with it being yoghurt,
The whole room smells, as you're red and smelly,
Complain about the smell and pain while lying on your belly,
Slip, slop, slap is the motto they say,
But everyone just wants to go out and play,
The sun isn't pleasant, it stops you having fun,
I say give me rain and clouds and hide the sun,
Around comes summer, some happy it has, yet some complain,
I can see why, it's too hot to go outside, and tanning is mundane,
Go for a walk in the middle of summer, the sun will be a pest,
You'll end up with a tan just on your arms and chest,
The sun is not fun, just stopping you having fun,
Stopping you from even going for a run,
The sun signals summer, there's two good things there,
Twirling around as your summer skirt waves in the air,
And watching a couple of good sports under the air conditioner,
And now i think i'm finished, ahh!
