Why is Gen Chat so quiet?

Oh why is Gen Chat so quiet?
Normally it's quite a riot
Where's Becs, Topsy and Ratty
Who's post are normally quite natty

Then there's Potty, Paula and Pit
Often the source of much forum wit
At the moment they,re not posting
By golly, I'll give them such a roasting

Well who else comes into the forum?
Mnm, Cheeky and Tids, you couldn't ignore 'em
They'll be back soon with posts a flooding
Otherwise the G-Man will be blubbing

There's the snookeroonies who come over to post
Their forums are quieter than ours, even they say it's no boast
We warmly welcome them all and shout "HELLO" with a grin
And then say go back out the door you came in

Oh I almost forgot Melz and Bob
At moderating they do a good job
All friends together in Funky
I Know I don't have enough posts
But in my heart I'm a Forum Junky

Snow

When the snow came all the transport came to a standstill
I saw children and adults alike on their sledges whooshing down the hill
Some people like the snow playing snowballs making snowmen and what not
Some stay indoors and look out at the scene wishing they were somewhere hot

After the snow comes icy pavements and streets or that horrible slush
No one has time to talk or smile as they go on their way; they are in so much of a rush
Rushing to the shops or rushing to work hurry, hurry is all that you get
But there's no need to worry the world won't stop, where ever your going you'll get there yet


It looks so nice on the Christmas card that you sent, but when it came you were filled with fears
What happens if this, what happens if that, the weather man told us it was the worst for 19 years
But this didn't happen and neither did that, we all survived now fancy that and we're here to tell the tale
About that harsh winter, the rain the ice and the snow, well at least there wasn't a gale

So when the summer comes and it too blooming hot, about this winter we won't give a jot
We'll be in our cosies for a dip in the pool, with sangria, lager, sun, sand and the lot
Remember the snow and the fun that you saw people out playing their hands so cold they were sore
And think to yourself, it could have been worse; we're all still here with family, friends and more

The last Post

I feel that it's time to stop posting
Gen Chat is the forum I've had fun most in
I'm quite a nice guy, that's not boasting
I'm polite and kind and I'd never give anyone a roasting

So much fun I have had in the Forum
Sometimes not enough people to make quorum
The posters are nice; I'd do anything for 'em
But I feel it's time to for me to no more bore'em

Is it time to say goodbye and leave?
Or are there some more posts up my sleeve?
If I go I'm sure some people I will relieve
But then again others would grieve

I type on a keyboard like a monkey
I have made many friends here on Funky
In truth I'm a bit of an old flunky
But will I end up a Forum Junky?
