I think it's time I went to bed
A chance to rest my weary head
Wrapped in my duvet, nice and warm
Listening to the sounds of a thunderstorm
Within moments, my lids start to droop
Thoughts in my head starting to loop
Soon fast asleep, completely unaware
Forgetting for now all life's cares
Vividly you appear, for a brief time
I guess you can tell just what's on my mind
Then you're replaced with a sudden sense of fear
Things moving around, strange noises I hear
Carried away, to some unkown land
Nobody here to guide me by hand
Stranded alone, just me and my thoughts
Getting cold dressed in just T-shirt and shorts
Tumbling through space, spinning around
All of a sudden, my feet touch the ground
Awake again, time to get dressed
My dreams forgotten, though I feel refreshed
One thing in my mind, still lingers on
I know now, for sure, that you are the one

There's a girl i know from funky
Her username is cheekychops
Shes as funny as a moneky
Even when she has her strops
We used to have a good laff
But then we had a big fall out
She was missed around this gaff
The argument was forgot about
We started sayin hiya again
And even shared an odd joke
We know we have both felt pain
Usually its been over a bloke
I heard she wasnt feelin well
I had to ask if she was ok
Still her chirpy self i cud tell
She made me laff right away
This nanna loving girls back
And its about flippin time
She nearly made my ribs crack
Reading her poems and rhyme
Jill, i wud like to thank you
For bringing a little cheer
And i hope you stay too

A man had had far too much to drink
Now I must go home he began to think
He tried to stand up and fell to the floor
So he decided to crawl out of the door
Then after a little fresh air he tried again
But he fell face down in the drain again
?I will never get up? to himself he said
I won?t try again I?ll crawl home instead
His wife found him on the step asleep
?I went for a drink? he said like a sheep
?And I know what made you crawl so far
Your wheelchair's still in the public bar?
Now I must go home he began to think

He came into the room with a smile, 'cause He knew,
He'd show them all what a Pool Player could do.
He took out His cue, so shiny and bright,
It seemed to be made of just fire and light!
He broke the balls hard, spreading them wide,
And the nine ball went in, off the six, in the side.
He cracked them again, then wouldn't you know?
A one-nine combination, three rails (just for show).
He broke and ran out, all bank shots and then,
The nine on the break! And again! And again!
The next game He made all nine balls on the break.
Yet another opponent was left in His wake.
He dropped balls with caroms, and jump shots, and kicks.
The others just watched, then unscrewed their sticks.
One by one they gave up, in awe not in shame.
They had not had a chance, He ran out every game!
He returned to the night and He smiled, 'cause it's true,
He'd shown them all what a Pool Player could do.
Come on Smithbit gives us all a go!!!!!

Came across the thread i love the most
The Poem thread, it was on page two
Its a thread i read when im feeling blue
It holds happy memories of times gone by
Poems for me brought a tear to my eye
Poems from people friends and foe
All of which had a feeling to show
Some they were titled, really good
Some were random and misunderstood
A few of them had hidden lines
Meant for only certain peoples eyes
Every Poem thats been posted here
I have read and i hold some dear
So come on people post all ur rhyme

Tis a poet from a friend, the names the craze right till the end. we come and go and watch us flow our friends on here they come and go
This is a game lets not forget!! hey u over there with the hat, win or lose lets not believe! they only ban when they believe!
As all comes out we can rejoin,,, my mates on here we never done! as the weeks gone bye and we all have spent.... lets not forget that night was meant! that nights not over as i walk away!!! we will always meet in a different way!
