Young At Heart

Another birthday over, yet I don't feel old,
And I don't look my age, so I'm told.
No grey hairs yet, no wrinkles or lines,
A few pounds too heavy, but I don't mind.

My memory is still good, sharp as a pin,
My eyes are okay, i aint complainin'.
I still have my humor, sarcasm and wit,
Though my response is slower, I must admit.

A few aches and pains, here and there,
More sagging than uplift, but I don't care.
My attitude is positive most of the time,
Optimistic even, is my state of mind.

I can stay out till dawn, rock the night away,
Though I pay a high price, the very next day.
I can still turn heads, a wink here and there,
Walk tall and proud without a care.

Growing old is something we all face,
And society tells us to do it with grace.
But something I heard, stuck in my head,
"Up yours society, you're a long time dead".

Oh ya knocked mine back a page now!!!! Oh well.. lol

A whisper in the wind
A stab in the dark
There is no voice
They have forgot

In this desire
You hope i expire
I am gone,forgot
Life is empty
I have no name

Yet i'm fear
Hope is gone
Was given life
Not for so long

I was once part of a trio
the names were pink, blue and the linz
they left me here it was after a beer! but
all they could do was laugh at the blue!
I hope you read my friends as i type this poem! we were mates to the end and robbed from our friends! just remember us till the end!

The rules are so harsh as we cry with the laughs but friends never leave in the end!

As crazzy leaves for a beer and waves to his mates, ill save u a can my friends!

You were my best friend,
Which i thought was true,
We went through moments good and some bad,
Even memories Happy and Sad,
Then when i needed someone to talk to,
All i could think of was you,
We started to talk and then argue,
Then all of a sudden out of the blue,
You said something to me,
The pain that i felt is hard to explain,
You were my best friend,
Wish things didnt change,
I have forgiven what you said to me,
But not forgotten what it did to me,
