POPPET
A term of endearment, from a very good mate
In terms of a friend, he is one that i rate
An honest man, who can be really sincere
And a fellow hunter, his tales bring a tear
A family man, who he loves to death
And will no doubt protect, with his very last breath
Proud of his brother, the fighting man
Who is doing his stint, in Afghanistan
A tigers supporter, well what can you say
Deep down inside, he's really an Osprey
Really loved, on this wonderful site
A mod as well, who breaks up the odd fight
But most of all, he is a genuine man
Who will help anyone out, as much as he can
But if you cross his path, you may well cop it
This is my mate, my friend, MY POPPET!

CLUB
Was sitting at home eating sum grub
My mind floated to sum nightclub
Thoughts of dancing having fun
Up the stairs i did suddenly run
Grab my moblie and ring a mate
Ask her if she fancied a date
No not with me, with sum bar
Just into town nowhere to far
Opened the wardrobe had a nose
Held up a top and had a pose
Nah that will make me look chubby
And that pink one is rather grubby
Skirt, a Dress, maybe sum Jeans
Nothing that tight to burst the seams
Killers heels Or Wedges cant decide
Decisions Decisions to over ride
Hair up all neat or left to flow
Subtle make up a nice warm glow
Blast My music get in the mood
I went back down to finish my food
Ironed my clothes, paint my toes
Gotta look my best anything goes
A club full of ppl lookin grand
I dont want to be left feelin bland
All systems go will be out by eight
On the way i will meet me mate
But for now, shower and sing as i scrub
I'll soon be ready to hit that Club!

Silence for years surroundin
Like a wall , a prison cell,
People who see but say nothing,
condoning a life to hell,
Eyes that have pleaded for mercy
Aheart it cannot tell,
Of years of pain and suffering,
Of a life condemned to hell
But this silence now speaks much louder than words
Anguish and pain emerging forth
Like a cup overflowing with promises broken
Shattering silence,a mirror broken
Millions of shards painful and cutting
Cutting the silence of words,
Silence is golden or so they say
Silence is black a vast cloud of grey,
Silence steals your life away

Again salty tears run down my face
Im back in this nasty awkward place
I wonder again what to do for the best
Head spins and spins as i try to rest
Deep in my heart i know im wrong
But trying to fight it im not so strong
I ask myself over why me oh why
Once again i break down and cry
Looking for answers that i cannot find
Images and sayings run thru my mind
Stay! Go! Oh what should i do now
Ive got to decide, i just dont know how
I will face each day if i can the best
Time i know is about to be a test
What else can i do please tell me
I just wish of this mess i was free
I know theres only me who knows
And me to decide which way it goes
Its hard and i really feel so all alone
But i have to face this on my own
Whatever the outcome ill still say
You will be with me til my dying day
Like youve been with me from the start
Forever you have a place in my heart.
