All this rainfall were having, is not just a threat
This is merely god's way, of repaying a debt

Rain

My mummy said i can go out today
Out to the park to have some fun
At the park i run and play
Under the nice warm sun

But today was diffrent, different indeed
As she told me something that would ruin my day
She said it would be better to stay and read
Or even go in the kitchen and play with the clay

This is the point i started to cry
And nearly lost all my pride
As i begged my mummy "why 'o' whyyy !"
She sadly said "take a look outside"

I looked outside with my beedy eyes
I saw loads of water, thats what i see
I jumped back scared....and surprised
As i thought it was the clouds having a wee

My mummy laughed and said it was rain
Thats why we couldnt go to the park
I sat back down and said it was so lame
And soon outside it will be getting dark

So i started to think what can i do?
What on earth could i play
To be totally honoust i didnt have a clue
So i sat in the kitchen and played with clay
