Sometimes I lay here, late at night
Trying to sleep, putting up a fight
Should I stay awake, why should I bother
Counting the sheep, one after each other
It's a funny one this, you know you must drift
Into a deep sleep, so in the morning, you will lift
Up out of the bed, all full of life
To deal with days troubles and strife
But its this time of day, when you want to be here
Having a laugh, and swilling a beer
But alas, I have morals and no more needs to be said
As I lay on my pillow on my comfortable bed
So as I complete this silly old rhyme
As I check my mobile and look at the time
Its goodnight from me, the loveable stell
Am knackered right now?..i guess you can tell
So I'll bid you farewell, and have a good night
Because ive had a visit off sandman, MY GOD what a fright

1st there is Katie,I find her so kind to me
Even though, she revealed she is a Grease Monkey
Then we have John,who buzzes in and out like a fly
Quite amazing really,seeing as he has only 1_eye
What can I say about Steph,my very good friend
Im sure we'll keep talking,right through to the end
Then My mate Tids,who loves the odd can
Puts people to sleep now, as the... man.
Then we have Mari,my mate from the states
Who through volleyball,we have become good mates
Hello Meeko, your a nutter,but I have to be fair
Ive never known anyone fuss so much with her hair
Then we have Guevara,although he don't know it
Since he has been here,he is THE master poet
Waves to Jo,your not one to miss

There are lots more mates here, i could write all night
But i cant fit you all in,as the space is so tight

I've been to work all day, to earn some pay
But i have been here, in my own special way

A paralysed donkey walking by
Kicked a blind man in the eye

Into a dry ditch and drowned them all!

Well I was over the bridge today, had to pay a toll
Just to visit a funny old place, called Bristol
By the time I got there, God I need the Loo
Thank god they had one, in the Local B & Q
When I walked in, a bloke was washing his hands
And around his trouser bottoms, he had elastic bands
I said, "bloody hell mate, what do you look like"
He said, "I only wear those , cos I came on my bike"
Well, you can imagine, what went through my mind
If he could do that, he must be one of a kind
But when I thought back, without much of a fuss
I remembered the time, Paula, came on a bus
Anyway, just one or two thoughts, In a random old way
