Are those your eyes?
Or oceans of blue?
which I seem to get lost in
everytime I look thru

Is that your smile?
Or the sun's pure delight?
that brings warmth and happiness
making my days so bright

Are those your arms?
Or another shelter for me?
which keep me safe and tight
as if under lock and key

Is that really you?
Or a dream come true?
cuz you changed my life for good
out of the blue

Is this some magic?
Or can you not see?
how hard it is to manage
without you here with me

I rest my eyes, the pillow softens my head,
As I lay my little self down onto my bed.
My eyes feel heavy and the tv drones,
And its at this time I feel most alone.
The curtain and the blind both keep out the light,
And in my comfy bed I'm all out of sight.
I slip into the coma of a good nights rest,
This is where my imagination works at its best.
Suddenly dreams play out in front of my eyes,
Dreaming of lollipop women and pale green skies.
Many dreams passing, like deja vu,
Maybe one day I'll even dream about you.
I'm sure that my eyes twitch like never before,
And a recurring dream happens with the same door.
I push my hand through it, and enter a place,
Where my hair turns golden and I dont have a face.
All I feel is lightness, and coldness on my hands,
In the background playing are numerous bands.
Then my hands feel warm, my fingers clasp another,
It is a land where no-ones been, and Im first to discover...

I walk alone with no eyes to see, my heart beats through my chest,
The I take a seat underneath a tree, and gather some more rest.
And as I walk though a field of barley,my face begins to appear,
I reach a very enchanting castle, and I feel a presence near.
Suddenly I look up and guess who's there?
Its beautiful Repunsel letting down her hair.
But I dont think I'll climb it, I'll take the lift,
Because for repunsel I have a gift.
This gift isn't formal, you cant hold it up above,
This invisible present is a feeling called love.

You pull your hand away
I can feel my heart dying
I tell you it's ok
But we both know I am lying
Tears running down your cheeks
I can't stand to see you crying
You tell me it won't work
But we still keep on trying
We want to be together
But life keeps on denying
I just pull you close
It feels like time is flying

You push me away
I never imagined it would get so painful
I never should have left you
I can't believe it, but I am such a fool
My chest is hurting, the heart is burning
I am sorry I have been so cruel
There have been plenty gems
But you are my precious jewel
I don't see why we can't love each other
Who made up such a rule?
I know I'll love you no matter what
I am just hoping that you too will

Were underneath a tree, and were happy as can be,
The green park before us is the greatest thing to see.
Children running wild, chasing ladybirds and such,
The gale force winds here yesterday, were proven to be too much.
But today the sun is shining, and we sit here on the rug,
Cradling you inside my arms, makes me feel so snug.
I stroke your hair as you close your eyes, and you hold my hand in yours,
We laugh and chat for hours on end, as the champagne pours.
Twigs fall down from the trees, we collect them for a fire,
To stay with you here all my life, is my one true desire.
I take the strawberry's from the pack, and dip them in the cream,
Were so happy in each other's presence, that this is like a dream.
The sun begins to set, and we pack up all the stuff,
The cold winds start to set in now, and we've both had enough.
What a lovely picnic, with the wife and I,
And as I dream of this future life, I let out a hopeful sigh.
