(good poem war!)

The postal service, what a mess,
They must have forgot my dear address.
For a week or two I've been waiting for a letter,
And as time goes by I dont feel better.
Now it should of been here already by now,
To miss out my house I just dont know how.
Maybe the letter was lost in the post,
Or maybe snatched away by the royal mail ghost.
So please mr.postman, bring it here soon,
I've been waiting all morning and its now past noon.
It's very important is a new bank card,
Just post it through my letterbox - it aint that hard!
I'll have to ring up Lloyds, and see what is the crack,
Is it in the post yet, or are they being slack?
But thats not important, I need it before I go,
Otherwise I'll be a very skint and upset bloke.
Two years it has now been, since I got a new card here,
Withdrawing money from the bank to go out on the beer.
Now I need it one more time, please just once more,
I've never had this trouble from them, no - not once before.

TITLE: The Rain

Today
Well it started quite early, I was in work by five
Not quite sure,if i was dead or alive
Switched on a PC, and logged into pool
Went straight into main chat,and started acting the fool

I was having a laugh, and I was starting to post
Then in walked the person, I love to hate most
He is my boss, Paula calls him the smelly old git
I thought to myself he's here early..OH Sh!t

He said to me"Stella, your off out on site"
I really did think,this is done out of spite
I don't mind physical work, it's really quite fun
Having a laugh, with the lads in the sun

Working away,amongst all the wolf whistles
Dressed only in shorts, chin covered in bristles
The girls think it's a laugh, when they give you the "come on"
But their faces do turn,when I do the Squeezy Icon

But im home now,it's been a hard day
And ive missed someone,since ive been away
Im logging in now,with this poem ive made
To spend time with MY Paula,while im sat in the shade.

Well crawling the floor, is what yo do best
Scrubbing away there, in ya string vest
Polishing away, without putting up a fight
Moving your arms back and fore, with all your might
You look up at me, and say "Stell is that all"
And i say "yes Paula, you can now go to the ball"
Now get up and change, your smelling of trout
Get yourself cleaned up, YOUR STELL is taking you out.

I used to like it on my own
And now that you are gone
It leaves me wishing I didn?t have to be alone
You didn?t get the chance to live on
And all I can do is make your dreams my own
I reminisce on all the stress we caused
Me and you, always with our crew
And I wish that life could be paused
Take it back a day or few
Get the chance to see you again
Maybe it would ease the pain
I know we all have to go sometime
But this is driving me insane
I think God has committed a crime
And now all I can do is write this rhyme
Hoping the bitterness will go away as the time goes by
I will have to deal with it in the meantime

Sat on the toilet here spending a penny
Thinking of my soul mate spenny
Dont know why , i feel so tense
Im really just hoping , that you've seen some sense
I know i whinge , and i groan alot
But that just means what a good friend you've got
I missed your laughter , i missed your points
I really do hope , ive not put your nose out of joint
When we will meet , you will certainly see
A disappointment , we certainly wont be
But i just have to mention a certain young fella
Who helped me with this , and his name is stella !!!

Comeback

Sat in the changing rooms,I was nervous as hell
As I pulled on the shirt,my chest started to swell
My heart racing fast,my first game for a year
The lads start to chant,the eyes just shed one tear

As I sat there,just thinking, my head in a muddle
The skipper gets up,and calls for "The Huddle"
The instructions are belted out,straight and true
But we all knew the job,that we had to do

Then it was time,the Ref banged on the door
We ran out on the field,to find out what's in store
As the whistle went,the ball flew in the air
It was coming straight for me, I was waiting right there

A lump in my throat,as I gave a great shout
"MINE" I shouted,here ended the doubt
The confidence was flowing, I felt it that much
As,I watched my kick,torpedo to touch

That was the start,and we won the game
I'm hoping that next week,will be much of the same
I have really missed, all the sweat and the toil
But if your are Welsh,you'll understand all the "HWYL"
