I thought micros were there to allow the players to warm up for the bigger tournaments? Now there's nothing I feel players will probably not even bother entering as 1. Not warmed up, 2. Don't feel too comfortable without any practise and 3. Not in the process of giving easy points away.

In order to entice more healthier traffic there needs to be something for players to join asap, the amount of normal games seem to be at the same level, plus IS there any way to implement IF you enter a games room you must play minimum 1 frame instead of seeing opponents rank and doing a runner?

There are more normal rooms available and forcing someone to stay in a game isn't really a nice thing to do. People miss-click now wouldn't it be unfair if they joined someone of way higher skill level than what they were expecting because of a miss-click?

Scrap tournapoints if anything, only ppl that win them are the one's who can sit on here all day.
And why are all micro's scrapped on here baff and not snooker, if you think scrapping them all over here surely it should be done over there?

I blame Challenge TV lol, damn Crystal Maze all the time, Automatic Lock Ins lol. Were only said light heartedly, I know some people may suffer with left mouse click syndrome, the dragging the mouse pointer across a screen is the most error prone part lol. (joke)

In all seriousness players would probably cry wolf and moan or just exit the game and blame connection issues lol.

Bring back Micros !im bored of waiting for a tournament ! i feel micros are good as most people dont have time to play a full tournament .

Why can't you play normal games?

When nick, spinner etc scheduled the tournaments, they were properly thought-out and structured. So if you had a short tourny, like a speed one, it'd be followed by one reasonably soon after.

Baff didn't apply any structure at all. He just cancelled everything without thought. So you end up with, like tonight, a 9 Ball Arcade speed at 7pm, with 80% of the players knocked out by 7.15 pm, and then absolutely nothing starting for an hour.

It takes forethought and time to build things - much easier to knock them down. I won't be bowing down to anybody.

Tonight we have a 9barcade speed tourney and straight tourney at 11 pm but nothing at 12...
Any reason or if this an accident?

its pointless taking away micros and haveing tournaments 1 hour apart . hope this will be fixed soon as many people like the choice of playing micros rather than a long winded tournament which can take ages .

same in tourneys. Also, if you lost to a newbie you dont lose much either.

I'm sure I'm opening a can of worms here but is there a way for everything just to be on separate leaderboards? Everyone may stay happy then, for example....

If you click "rankings" then "overall"....(yes I get it, overall means overall, I'm American but I'm not THAT dim)

Overall tournament wins for example has ALL of your tournament wins in every game type combined. When I first came to the site your "overall tournament wins"were US8,UK8,9 ball, and straight (once that was created). Which were the original gametypes..

Could we possibly have a leaderboard such as "overall original tournament wins" where they have your totals for just those 4 original game types combined there?

And also have a separate leaderboard such as "overall arcade tournament wins" where you can combine your arcade game's totals there?

And (if they're coming back) an "overall micro leaderboard"...you get the idea.


I realize this probably sounds ridiculous and is probably loads of work but just throwing it out there.

It seems obvious that all of the problems are coming from players preferring different game types, why not just have completely separate leaderboards? As it is now, your 8 ball arcade and your 9 ball arcade rank aren't included in your overall rank, so why should the tournaments be included?

Why not just bring back micros and make them zero tournapoints, or friendlies, or both, they were a laugh.

scrappin them hasn't lead to a tonne more normal games happenin, it's just the same number of games as there was when they existed.
