To be fair, lots of people complained about too many tournies, now they've changed it, and other people are not happy.
No matter what is done, you can't please everyone, the admin have done their best to keep players happy, but not everyone will be happy.
See how it goes for a few weeks, and then judge it. I personally have noticed more games available to play now, which I think is great.

Surely its always been whoever spends the most time on the site is going to win the most tournys?
Unless before my time there was like only 3 tournys a day or something?
A few people always go on about the old ranking system which i have no clue on as that was way before my time, but i have read enough to know you could cheat your way to the top and was far too easy with many people with the top rank?
This ranking system is actually a challenge, even more so now, as numbers has fallen and there are less people with 800+ which makes any 900+ rank near impossible in the 3 main game types, but it can be done.
Hardly anyone in ranked games anymore, especially 8us!
Have a look at how many 8us games ive played compared to 9 and 8uk, i only play ranked matches and probably half of those games i've played are in clan matches and a few tournaments.
Maybe make tournaments unranked would benefit the site? I don't think this will effect the hardcore tourny player as they play for tournapoints and medals etc... Ideas should be put forward for getting more people into ranked games again, as they are so few atm that your just glad to get a game.

Maybe implement something similar to cycling, a sprint race to see how many frames can be played within say a few hours, person with highest win ratio gets an accolade or trophy, just implement them randomly or with an hours notice.
Players are competitive more than anything on here, give them a competition and they will thrive on it.

But surely all the changes are due to egotistical moaners on here who were not happy. Why change a winning platform. There was always games to be had on here, but now, nothing. I loved micros as tournaments take too long and if you did not like micros then dont play them, easy.
