1. Button
2. Barrichello
3. Hamilton
4. Glock
5. Alonso
6. Rosberg
7. Buemi
8. Bourdais
Got to give Buemi credit for a good drive on debut beating his team mate and 2 points is pretty good for them. Hamilton got big points for a dodgy car, both Ferraris out and a nice 1-2 for Brawn and Button's 2nd career win

Yeah I think I forgot to mention Buemi. The funny thing is he's been told he doesn't deserve to be in the car, much like Hamilton was told!
Hamilton's struck gold! Fair enough he's got lucky in the fact two cars took each other out and the Trulli tried to pull a fast one. But he drove the living hell out of that car all afternoon! Well done to him!
I hope the season stays like this. It'll be wonderful to watch.
I hope Williams get rid of Nakajima, the car can do so much more than what he's doing. Such a shame when you've got the likes of Senna on the side-lines waiting for a drive.

Wow, I missed that... Even better!

Everyone know Trulli was penalised for overtaking under the safety car so had a 25 second penalty incurred? He ended up out of the points so Hamilton came 3rd...

The commentator's didn't! They wondered what was going on. The shame of it is Hamilton's missed out on a podium celebration now.....
I agree with what you say about Kubica. Looking at it over again, he should of given more room, there was no way Vettel was going to be able to stop. As you say though - in the past now!!

The FIA are butting in already!!
Vettel has a 10 place grid penalty for causing the collision and forcing another car off the road!

F F S! How typical is that
They really need to make FIA remember this is a racing sport and not a competition in being politically "correct". These rulings ruin the sport, and will in worst case make drivers refrain from on-track overtaking attempts all together, since the consequences of such rulings are far too severe...

Vettel got done for that? WHAAAAAAAAAAT!?!?!!?!?!??!?!?!!?!?
Kubica was OUTSIDE, and shut the door going into the corner, what the hell was Vettel to do?
Give Rubens Barrichello a penalty for the crash at the start then, that was worse!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't even Vettel's fault in my opinion... Quoting the commentator: "They both didn't yield, so it's 50/50".
I agree with that statement, so if one gets it, so does the other.

Yeah, it's simply ridiculous. This sport is clearly not meant to encompass racing anymore.

Jan: That's what i'm saying, did you see the chaos Barrichello caused on turn 1?
He was going way too quick and was totally careless. Give him a PenalTOY too.
Same for Kubica, give him one too, FIA are getting good at dishing out unfair penalties.

Yep. They are outright ruining their own sport by doing this.
Fining him for keep driving a damaged car is fair enough, but making a deal out of the impact is plain bs.

The crash at the start, apparently Rubens got tagged from behind to cause that sooo?
The incident involving Raikkonen was worse with Barrichello, clipping him in the over-taking move.
Vettel shouldn't have a 10 place penalty but suppose it is his stupid fault for admitting blame when it wasn't. It was 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, therefore racing incident

Well Barrichello was attempting to outbreak half the field anyway regardless of one of the McLarens hitting him (Kovalainen)
It's always the same in the first corner of the first race.

Vettel had got some front row seats in the grandstand for his friends and family for the next race, but due to their input into his life (and are therefore partly to blame for the collision on the track), the FIA decided to demote them to the 11th row in the stands.

weeeell... 99% of his over-speed came from being tagged, so don't agree he could or should be held responsible for that.
Just like for Vettel, he had no real means to avoid it.

I would NOT been surprised if they did!

Poor Vettel.
On the plus side, look what happened to Hamilton last season. He got penalised for breething too much in the c0ck-pit but still won the title. Proving that FIA idiocy doesn't always determine championships. They just make sure it comes down to the last race!

Anyone want odds of Hamilton being promoted to win the Australian GP?
I doubt they will DQ Brawn, Williams and Toyota now as that will mean they will award Hamilton a win, and they can't do that can they?
