Right guys and dolls,

We've done it the last 2 seasons of posting (amazing this thread has been around and is staying for it's third season!)

Predictions for title winner?

There are, imo, five real contenders, Hammy, Rai, Massa, Alonso and Kubica.

Among those, I vote Massa. Ferrari is sadly going to be a tad ahead of the McLaren this year, and Massa is still growing while Raikonnen is over the top I think.

The opening few races will see completely different drivers topping the list, but that will change soon enough.

Hamilton will not win this year.
He did not deserve to win last year.
AND its time he left his DAD at home.

Money on MASSA to win this year.

GO GO MASSA.

A Brawn domination as expected. Im now kicking myself, i was going to back button to win and vettel each way!

What has really surprised me is the speed of these cars. I thought the new regulations were going to slow them down?! For example, the fastest lap of 2008 was 1′25.187. The fastest lap today was 1'24.7someting. Amazing

Well it seems Ferrari and Mclaren have work to do. Excellent time for Vettel in the Red Bull, seeing as he is running with the "conventional" diffuser.

Another interesting point is that of te 7 drivers running with KERS, only 2 made it into the top 10. Eddie Jordan is certaing that it is a useless technology and will die out before the season is over.

Super BUTTON!!!!!!

Brilliant Brawn, Button and Barrachello living the dream. Was wonderful to watch!

Things will change within 3 races, it'll be (even) more competitive at the front. This season is going to be outstanding. What a great start for the BBC.

Was watching the races, qualifying, i cannot belive how much faster Brawn GP is, they have a class team, although that diffuser thing that three teams thought was illegal could be making them faster, if so how long before the likes of Ferrari, do this change, but the Brawn team is so far more superior so far, race is going be class.

Either way the fia go on the diffuser issue, its going to cost the teams a lot of money in designing new ones. We've yet to see if it will be Brawn etc. designing a less sofisticated one, or Ferrari etc. vice versa.

Put it this way, if he doesnt preform this year, rai, is gone and in come Alonso. Massa is safe, even the team manager said so!

I doubt neither Alonso nor Ferrari will make the mistake of pairing up the Spaniard with a good driver in the other seat again. We all saw how well that worked last time. He is a huge cry-baby and clearly cant handle competition within the team at all.

I don't think you could have possibly discovered the sport at a more exciting time - this championship is going to be a roller coaster for sure.

I'm going to laugh for three days straight if Jenson grabs his first ever win tomorrow - especially thinking how the team was stranded half the winter, having had the worst thinkable build-up to this season

Cor! Great finish to the qualifying!

So many big names (from the end of last season anyway) didn't make any significant places! And Button's final lap was mesmorising!

Almost magical

EDIT: Oooooh...

Hamilton will start at 18th due to gear box change

Toyato's rear wing illegal, so they start from the pits...

Having a car that's 1 sec faster than the next best team kinda helps...

Jenson already has 1 race win under his belt, Hungary 2006, the only race win Honda got, but strongly (and hope) he get's his second and a few more to follow as well.

Didn't get up till 1pm, watched the qualifying again and now itching to watch the race
