Here we go again.... FIA ruining the fun of the season as soon as it had begun.

The next time I see the word "steward" is going to make me throw up.

Apparently he fooled the Stewards into thinking Trulli overtook him whilst a yellow flag was being shown. This proved to be wrong and Hamilton was disqualified. (May be more to it)

Hamilton also was found to have been speeding in the pit lane. He has been fined!

Harsh in my eyes.

Hamilton would never play dirty, so it is just a misunderstanding in my eyes...

As for a fine being harsh for speeding in the pit lane... Speed limits are set for a reason... ... You get fined for speeding when on the road (if there is a speed limit), so why should F1 be different?

Speeding is fine - clear rules and measurements for that.

The team radio thing is crap imo. The team had apparently discussed the trulli case on radio as it happened. This discussion was not actively forwarded in the first hearings since they 1: thought the stewards had already pulled those data, and 2: had been favorable for trulli.

No lying involved as I see it, but they choose to shush down additional info that would affected the decision. Pretty clear decision too since they aren't appealing it. The real pity tho is that this has nothing to do with the driver and should have been a team penalty only (fine or points).

Hamilton admitted it was his fault though.
Some McLaren boffin told him to tell a different story to the stewards, which is why McLaren 'dismissed' the boffin named Ryan.

Hamilton sounded upset about the whole ordeal.

If Hamilton lied, does that mean the FIA barely looked over the Trulli incident? Not very smart they are.

Or is Davy Ryan just the "fall guy" for Hamilton's Mistake? Getting near retiring age, promised a great bonus & pension in exchange for taking the blame?!?! I would!

Either way, something aint right imo!

What Trulli incident?

Forgive me for not taking full and proper interest, but was it not something involving Trulli overtaking Hamilton at a yellow flag, and Hamilton "lying"?

Yeah it was, i read somewhere, that they told hammy to drive slow, really slow, and apparently trulli had to pass him for driving to slow, then they lied to stewards, that is what i read somewhere so don't quote me,

Yeah. He was apparently instructed to hold back info (which does not imply lying), and yes, for once we actually see a driver speaking bad about his team - and rightfully so.

No, it means Trulli never did anything wrong in the first place.

Even if he were to almost park the car, Trulli would not be allowed to pass as long as he remains on the track (because of the SC)

The case is that Trulli never passed him at all tho (seems to be the final conclusion)

What happened to him, keeping him out of Q2?

He thought he was safe, as it was with last season most of the big teams were able to go out once, hit a time and wait for the next session. As it is now, with the field being so close, Ferrari got it all wrong!

If you look at the times between 1st and 15th and compare them to last year! 1st and 2nd are seperated by 000.4 or something? That part of F1 is amazing at the moment.
