Stevo, you might be right, because if you an a "i" and then another letter (such as "m" or "n") to all of the words except loyal, then they become negative. Loyal only because negative if you add "un" to the beginning.

Steve gets it, cos to form the negative of all the other words apart from "loyal", you add in- (or its derivatives im- or il- or ir-) before it. "Loyal" adds a dis-. Neither http://www.m-w.com/ not http://www.dictionary.com/ list "unloyal", but the word does crop up in wikipedia articles.
