It's the same old crap season in, season out.

The only people some Captains think about and give a crap about are themselves.

As long as they can keep their precious 16 players they all have then to HELL with the leagues and the fact they are decaying daily and change might be all that's required to try and sustain a little stability and possibly growth.

I'll re-consider my offer to help out next season as I don't want to be associated with all the imbeciles any longer than necessary and waste my own time for a bunch of selfish ungrateful people who cannot try to embrace change as it's required for clans to carry on & hopefully move forward.

I don't think reducing clan sizes will work as you have to kick people. Kicking people means less people in the leagues unless you can convince them to form a clan? as thats the whole idea isn't it? If you can't then what is point of lowering players participating than current?

Didn't push for a sub at all, just refused the swap. I believe my actual words were pretty much either he grows up and communicates with his opponent to make it easier on both clans, or he would have to be subbed out because his refusal wasn't OUR problem.

And Ash, a clan reduction would benefit you because you don't recruit people you don't deem "good enough" for your team, therefore it would be more convenient for you to stick to minimum players that are all high quality. So the "selfish" concept goes both ways.

I don't know why you even agreed to help next season because all you've done since is threatened not to if such and such and bla bla.

And why should we need u to help? u still havent done anything for the leagues and again u threaten not to help lol. The league will survive with or without you anyway.

So aside from all the trivial crap, who will I need to thank for running the Funkypool Clan Leagues?

As do i. Why cram 6 sets of games into 2 weeks if we already have trouble getting matches done in 3. Cant see the point in putting pressure on everyone

I think 3 weeks worked. Those very active players were able to complete most of their fixtures within around 10 days and were able to relax, even complain about waiting for next set!
What were the stats for defaults this season % wise?

Why not leave the clan size as it is but reduce the amount of fixtures, one of the reasons I dont play clans is I just dont have the time to play the amount of fixtures thats required now, 3 leagues, cup and killer is crazy for the amount of active players we have on the site now, I'm surprised players can keep track of their fixtures, who and what they are due to play, I see it in the threads, players asking their captains to keep them right on who and what, if I was a new member looking at clans I would be thinking forget that, its too much and confusing.
I'm not saying less fixtures will give us new clans but it will atleast make it easier to form a sizeable clan that could compete and also make it easier for present clans struggling to get the numbers.

A simple change like changing the FCL to 6v6 could make a difference, something needs to change.

How many of you look at the leagues and think there might only be one more season before it dies ?, I can imagine quite a few, we need to stop thinking like that and be more positive, think more about what do we need to do to keep it going for as long as possible, I can understand captains want to look after their own clans but without change sooner rather than later you won't have a clan.

That's probably where you'll have support from some who don't need all the hassle, and others who will take all the games they can get!
I helped Zac out at the start coz I had limited access to getting online and it worked for us.
Players I'm sure would let their Captain know how many games they want thro participation in all the leagues, which takes us back to when some Clans were only utilising players in certain leagues.

I can tell you from my side that I decided to leave the clan thing for exactly 2 reasons.

1. I agree that the amount of matches is way too much and even if bucky offered me to leave me out of some I fear it wont go that way as there are not enough people to be subbed in when you are going for too many teams outta one clan. So i can see myself dealing with the same amount of matches because I cant let the team/clan down by matches going to default.

2. The rough tone on here from people being selfish or just provocant to others is no fun at all even if there was more than just one laugh to read through sometimes. But in the end its just annoying!

On snooks I most of the time hat 2 matches per two weeks which was just optimal. But here I had from the beginning 3 matches in SL, 2 matches in FBL and one big match in FCL per 3 weeks. I was quite able to deal with as I wasnt working for a year caused by illness but I will soon restart working and I just cant take the load of all these matches together with family things and doing my real sports 3 evenings in a week.
