ok thanks, wasn't going to abuse it though as was to prevent a default, if ang decided not to sub in and then we would accept a default loss as we was a fault. if i wanted to abuse it (which i wouldn't) i could ask the people who are busy not to log in then you would probably allow the move.

not sure if i asked last season (probably otherwise could have folded a team), normally i have to be desperate to ask and this was one of them as we had a maximum of 2 active subs per set normally. i know we could have signed players but i don't believe in poaching if i can help and no randoms has asked to join recently so struggled along most of the season even with signing itapool who has helped us a great deal.

skidmarx was busy this set, ang wanted a break (then agreed to play as felt she would let the clan down) and beth is unreliable so i had to ask at the time.

At the same time captains are recruiting historically flaky, inactive players though - there are super active free agents like norrisscole who would love to be given a chance. Now you may not rate some of these good enough for your ambitions, but they are always better than defaults! And there should be some incentive to getting active players signed up, and not recruiting inactive ones if the rest of your squad can't cover them!

Team A could have folded most of the season as with FPD, We had 5 active mostly even 4 at times and struggled along.

FPD were allowed and Cues were allowed to prevent a default so why wasn't we allowed? Team A was struggling too yet we had to struggle.

It isn't about tough fixtures and stuff, It was ONE swap to help out a struggling fixture. Luckily for me Ang completed her fixtures even with low morale.

You're talking about a "why them not us" situation. This isn't in the rules, this is a case of dispensation given outside the rules by the league runner. I'm talking about the general rules I'd like to see in place. Each situation reviewed outside the rules will always be at the discrepancy of the league runner.

Should point me out to them, we are willing to give anyone a chance, Take Itapool, not good by his own admission. If the player is ACTIVE and WILLING to play then we would take them.

It isn't always about just recruiting the top players, been there, done that. I haven't got the sense that poolers have, i can't go up to Random and ask if they want to play in a clan. Anyone on Clan Waiting List, Gets Pointed Out or PMs me i would consult Dee and if she agreed then sign them.

Wish i knew a few sets ago though then Team A may not be in this mess, luckily for Team A its their last fixture then we can use full squad again.

This is what has applied this season and i would like to continue but again every circumstance is different so who knows what next season will bring. But if a clan had 4 active players it was up to them to get the players to play and if they didn't then they would be punished in default which is fair and would hopefully make them look to recruit more active players so the same thing didn't happen again.

In answer to the favourable treatment thing. I have moved a couple of players but they stayed put after moving. I have flitted about but only to get games done. I havent moved Alan or Seb about to suit myself. It was only ever about making sure there were no defaults. I had 20 players but even then it was tough to keep up.

I dont think its necessary or right to now question the league runners decisions after fighting so hard to secure his services for a further season. I wasnt in favour of keeping PD'S going and i was wrong for the most part. It worked out and we got it done. That was Keith's decision and it worked out. Leave him to do his job and it works out from what i can see

but then you could say the same about the team who enter three as they could know they would struggle. Last two seasons i have been forced to enter two teams and struggled both seasons. It is as bad for us to have two than others to have three.

sure i could poach but i'm not about that life and puts other teams at risk. Due to the strict sub rule i can't just ask any randomer i see to join as i don't know their activity and if its a "bad egg" other clans suffer waiting two weeks before i have to sub in week three, it would be my fault for "trusting" the "bad egg". I would rather speak to those who approach me in some form or another to be reassured rather than "take a risk".

It needed saying, and felt like posting it for a week now, all i want is less strictability then leads to this talk about not signing weak players or we just moving to suit us.

If you can complete 8 games in FCL there is no reason why it should be any harder in SL and FBL other than the fact that teams are loading all their best / active players in one team as opposed to splitting evenly. So the other team suffers from the very first split which is the clans fault, no one elses.

Why chose one word from what i said "suit". I was covering the point that could be leveled at us, that we were drafting in better players to suit us in games where it mattered. We were not. The leniency shown to us was given at the start of the season as we had three teams. If Keith or any opposing Captain had seen us mistreating the situation they would have been on us big time.

Why does it take you so long getting stuff out? We will only bite your head off!!

Wasn't saying that you were tactical team swapping, just FPD and Cues got special passes to prevent defaults (_egley_, letsgochamp), and you swapped twice to help games being played that is the point. We ask for the same thing, Dee in, Dee subs into Ang's games, Ang gets a break until Grand Slam but we had to ask Ang to play which she agreed to luckily, that is my point.

We was refused when we only wanted a special pass for the current set then people make out i'm the bad guy because a player wanted a rest and we had limited subs due to other commitments.

Not signing players but with the subs rule it is really hard to trust random people, poaching hurts others. Get accused of signing no weaker players when we did a few weeks ago.

Last two seasons it felt like three teams to us but don't hear me saying sign players to survive, i don't pick flaws, the whole point was why we was refused AND can the bar be set lower next season.

Answer is we had active (busy/unreliable) players so we had to sign players or continue to struggle and the bar won't be lower so if i struggle again next season, i won't expect much.

Anyways been annoyed for far too long so will leave it at that.

Killer will be happening soon along with SL knock outs and GSC Cup and Plate. Hopefully by grouping these we keep teams interested with some games

You have been treated the same as uprising, phoenix, black scorpions, i would not allow any clan a special pass without a justified reason which this clearly isn't, why should DFE be allowed to swap a player from one team to another as a player wants a break, but the same player then wants to be back for the cup etc, that is hardly fair on the other teams. If DFE had split their team evenly on active players there would not have been an issue, it was your clans choice to load one clan heavy in reliable active players as opposed to your other one. FPD have only been allowed to swap as they had less than 4 active players in a team which i think happened twice but i am sure buckjam can confirm exactly. Cues brothers was purely down to either allow them to fold or allow dispensation. Now from what was posted at the time most captains wanted to allow dispensation and i have not had one complaint about that decision prior to now, which in my eyes shows the decision was correct.

I wasn't questioning the dispersion itself mate or even FPD, you did the right thing with FPD as well allowing Jamie to move, and it was good to allow Cue Brothers to sign players to prevent folding, i mean deadline night just gone while i was happy you allowed _egley_ and possibly letsgochamp to move to Team B to prevent a default is what i would question as you're doing the thing what we wanted to do with Ang to try and prevent a default. I thought teamlist was okay then and probably wouldn't have folded that night.

Those two are the only things i would question as it is almost the same but one got allowed while the other did not.

As for Dee and the Cup, i have no idea how Dee's mind works and to be honest i didn't think of the Cup when asking about Dee and Ang, it was simply that Ang wanted a break, If it was FCL its an easy sub but in FBL i was very limited and even if i signed someone he couldn't help due to quarantine so we was stuck. It all turned out when Ang could play and some subs turned up on deadline night but it could have gone horribly wrong as i thought at the time. Just thought about the well being of my players as does all of the other clans, despite struggling all season this is first time i have asked.

As i said though i respect your decision as always (you do speak sense mate and hopefully can see it from my side too) as always and didn't challenge it but thought it was odd at the time.
