But ideas like removing straight or make the format up to only 4 frames per game are ridiculous IMO.

I take it you mean me lol, the format has nothing to do with why I won't play in the leagues now, I just can't be doing with all the rubbish that goes on and there's a certain minority spoil it for others, every now and then I think I'll get back in to it but then I see all this crap, I wonder how many others are avoiding clans because they read all this nonsense.

I'd prefer to play against the best and be "smashed to pieces", learn something and get better than just playing opponents of the same quality or worse that I may beat, even sometimes comfortably. Other wise the game becomes repetitive if i don't get to play top players.

Totally disagree there kris sorry, Keith is doing the admirable thing by allowing everyone their chance to express their own opinions. Whether everyone chooses to do so is another thing but they all have the option & opportunity.

IF Keith chooses to take on board comments/opinions then fantastic, IF not but are implemented in some fashion then again fantastic. What will be a foolish thing to do is to completely ignore, dictate and expect everyone to conform to his way or the highway - as it's a lot more amicable and fair for all to express as much input as anyone else.

Clans are and have always will be voluntary, clans are the ONLY thing keeping this site from extinction and treating everyone with the same due diligence and respect is a good way to hopefully maintain some appreciation for the remaining players/members.

So kris I have to categorically disagree with the above post. I think a possible way forward as that's the same direction we all should be aiming towards is to set a cut off date for any requests, additions, changes, modifications, rule changes, team sizes etc - then go with what he and his panel decide then put the vote across to the teams. Failing that tell us how it is after their discussion and see what the feedback is and take it from there.

We should all be treated as equals, all entitled to our opinion and being a dictator will only alienate people and their ideas even further.

what i ment, was that no drastic measures needed. few tweaks, ok, not a bother.

i said what i said cos hes getting pretty much slaughtered here, and in my opinion, its not the way to deal with him/it/

i mean, been is looking at it from % view, he wants to win the golden cue. brill stuff, hes a great player and so on, but there are very few players who can actually dream of it, and to change it all for the sake of handful of players, is wrong.

Also, the player who thinks that hes worthy of it, shouldnt worry about whether its 2, 4 or 15 frames, the right guy wins it anyway, skill wins at the end of the day.

Keith is doing it for the majority here, not for the individuals, and that is exactly the correct way imo
