And if you don't get what you want you will still quit.
It is just as well not everyone acts like this or we would have no one left. You can keep posting threats of you want as I will not be blackmailed by anyone, I will do what is best for the majority of clans / players.
Maybe the one thing I got wrong was trying to get feedback from people, I should have just followed Chris's lead and changed things without asking and then it is just up to clans if they play or not
ab, about me "spitting my dummy out and threatening to leave" if it doesn't have at least 8 frames. That isn't just about not getting my way.
I've gone 10 seasons, very rarely getting my way, and I've never threatened to quit all clan leagues before this week!
I admit that history is a factor, but certainly not my main reason.
I explained already that I believe I've been tricked, quite maliciously. and I'm certain I've been lied to.
If he continues to be so concrete in his stance on 6 frames of regular types, when the majority is obviously just fine with having 8 it'll confirm for me that my suspicions are true too.
If that happens, I'll begin to find the whole thought of clans more frustrating and depressing than it is enjoyable.
and that's why I'll quit.
and for the last time, I'm not after a greater advantage over smaller teams when I ask for accuracy.
Did you just ignore it yesterday when I pointed out that there's always a huge gap between top and bottom anway!
There would be even if FBL started playing 4 frames!
It needs to be accurate to seperate the top teams!

Yes , Keith you are the league runner , change things as Chris did , if people don't like it then they don't have to join.
I think most would agree the leagues do need a shake up , lets face it they are monotonous now , surely a bit of a change would be good .
Sorry been, but don't like the straight idea and the system there, but if you and other people feel that it's such a good idea, set up a league to run alongside the others , and prove some people wrong

True but its a two way relation though, runners cant run anything without clans and clans cant do anything without runners. So lets respect everyones opinion even if they moan i think.

The main problem is, not many post on discussion , it's always the same people. If Keith wants to change things , as he said ..if people don't like it , then don't join. Are people from the 'bigger' teams worried ? Sometimes a change is good , and that is what the leagues need

Yeah sometimes a change is good but not always, the formats have been pretty good the last two seasons so i dont even know why there is a need to change them. Of course people have difeerent opinions but the majority should decide.
As for the "bigger" teams being afraid of changes, i still think that they will challenge for the titles at whatever format u choose to apply. U can look at SL if you dont beleive me

I said yesterday set up their own League if not happy with the possible changes. I do agree with erigert though but I'll rephrase it:
There would be no Leagues to Run if it wasn't for the amount of Captains and Players alike prepared to give up their own time and accrue hopefully some reliable players & friends in order to nurture them to become a team.
Change is good too, there will always be those who will never want to break from their comfort zones (the norm) Either way, hopefully we can agree to disagree on some things and try to move forward for the sake of the Leagues themselves.
True is the saying 'IF it's not broke, don't Fix it' but if adding minor changes can encourage it to run even more smoothly then surely that opportunity is one not to be missed.
A vote is always a good idea as it shows a sense of unity and cooperation.

Then clan caps ask there players.

There was a discussion to try and see if people wanted change but as usual we are not capable of having a simple discussion, so it is impossible to say what next season will bring, but as has been pointed out no one needs to wait to find out they are welcome to run their own clan league anytime.

The players who don't play are ones that should be listened to as we need to understand why they don't play if we want leagues to grow and flourish. And for the players who do play it would be great if they put the same effort into developing the leagues as they are willing to put into petty digs to those who do and constant bickering / arguing.

Theres only one player here who doesnt play in the leagues and still ask for changes Keith, and im sure that even if u change the format the way he want it he wont play again.

I think the reason not many post on here is when they have done in the past their ideas or opinions have either been ignored, ridiculed or ripped to shreds. Resulting in making them feel inferior to others.
You can also take it the opposite way erigert, the fact many haven't posted is maybe there are too many dislikes for them to list. People's opinions need to be respected first and foremost before anything else. (something I'm guilty of as well).
