I really hope it doesnt go to 2 points for straight, it would make your idea of a frame count league a farce.

If we introduce frame count I would never allow any frame to count more than any other, so if players want extra points for straight and to count frames they need to look for someone else to run it as I wouldn't bother to run another league which has a flaw from day one.

If they want straight it needs to be one point per frame the same as all other types.

Funny how most of the posts concerning FBL are by people who won't be considering it there favorite anyway. People who don't like frame count anyway.

That's funny too, keith still ignoring the fact that FBL almost always scored straight that way. 2 points per game, that's what it is, not a frame

Finally get frame count, and it's ruined by not enough games. Won't be much more accurate than SL with only 6.

But you are not liking it either, I pointed out how you could incorporate frame scoring into the league where all frames counted for accuracy. Your response was to threaten to quit clans if you didn't get more frames to provide a greater accuracy in your words. surely as long as all frames count you would be happy as it is your preferred scoring method in your own words.

When someone reaches 35 in straight it will say 1-0 just like it will say after the first frame of any other game type, your counting racks in straight as frames and think its worth more points, am I right or wrong here ?

Was just one reason I think 2 points is justified. yes it's one game, but any regular type only has one rack, straight has at least 3.
I think the time required to play one game, and the fact that it's almost always been done that way are better reasons though.

I've figured it out,

Keith just wants to make sure his baby (team match count/FCL) will still be considered the most accurate league around, after it quits counting frames.

FBL threatens that with any more than 6 frames.

With this realization, I know now that we'll never have frame count with a long format as long as he's runner. So I'm done with this thread. Feel free to repeat yourselves on whatever issues you fear I proved you wrong, you will anyway.

Although you could explain why it's now that you suddenly have a problem with straight counting 2. For years FBL did it and I don't remember any complaints about it till now. Any debates over straight were only about how many games there should be.

Sorry mate but i just think whether its one frame or in this case one game of straight it should count just as it would on your stats, that means no matter how many racks it takes its still 1-0 for each game.

Surely if it is frame count then you can only have the scoring as one point for winning the frame, else you've circumvented the frame count.

Yes you could well be right, I did originally suggest SL might be the best place.

But you can also make the points in killer match the points of FBL and score in the killer can be same as all other games, which can't happen if you make a frame worth 2 points as has been suggested for straight.

It Is not about me even though I wish it was, what is decided has to be the best for all clans and players.

not too many straight players about, therefore it shouldnt play huge part in a clan match.

What was wrong with what we just spent 3 months playing and organizing? I thought it was fun and fairly smooth in its operation. Fixture length worked well, the leagues and cups were won or will be won by the right teams.

We all played pool. Cant we just do that?

Straight has never been fair in clans as the top 2 clans has the best straight players on the game which allow them a 4-0 lead without any worries over most clans . How can you beat a player if you have 1 shot in straight when they can pot 100+

Remove straight i feel and replace it with killer as killer is a team effort game and clans are suppose to be based on .

Make it one point per frame but it also should have the same weight as other types in a fixture. Or otherwise it wouldnt ve fair either.

Yeah i really dont know why all these changes when in fact all the leagues we have currently have been great. The current FBL format is the one i like the most and i really dont know why it has to be changen with all costs.

But its the same as playing someone like Imran in 8UK making 3-4 runouts in a row, Yes it could be 4-0 but your missing the point, If 6 points out of a 42 point match make a difference then really need to look at your team.

Seriously if Straight is removed entirely from FBL then i have to question if i want to play in an unbalanced league. I'm sure each clan has one decent Straight player.

FPD has Seb, UPR has pirate/eri, PD has zac/harry, PRO has dvz/tinie, FK has legend/chocco so theres no reason at all for Straight to be removed.
