One more reply, because you've confused my opinion yet again. For 10 seasons I've been asking for frame count in a league with a format long enough to be accurate
and it's not just me that wants this

But you are now getting frame count and now deciding what is long enough to make it accurate in your 'opinion'.

If you play 6 frames against 20 players on here as you are a top player you would average 75% win rate for example. This win percentage would be the same whether you play 4 frames, 8 frames or 10 frames. So from an overall game perspective the accuracy of your game and the overall scoring when you count frames, the number you play doesn't matter as your win % will provide the same percentage to the overall clan score and this is the same for all players.

The difference in a shorter number of frames, if you lose your first frame you are under pressure to win x amount of the rest to achieve your percentage.

So what's wrong with having the same amount of straight frames as the other formats, and a draw being possible In straight.

The more frames you have, the more accurate it is, in any scoring system. Denying that just makes you look stupid.

I don't understand why killer would be brought back into a league. It was an absolute headache to arrange every set and it was gotten rid of to put it in a format that works.

Killer was a suggestion as it could fit in that format. With a default time for it, there is no reason why it shouldn't be played if it was re-introduced. I have found killer as the best true clan experience and team game. With the killer cup in my opinion you don't get enough of it, but if others disagree and want it separate i am not bothered either way.

Or you can turn it round to you want it longer to favour better players and don't like the thought of a game where there could be a challenge to their dominance

That was my sentiment exactly, nothing about not liking straight - more incorporating the TEAM feel back to clans. The Killer Cup has proven to be quite a success as matches are getting played and decent numbers are showing an interest. IF possible to add it back to FBl and keep a Killer Cup then so be it, nothing needs to be sacrificed (just the amount of frames needs to be a reasonable number) otherwise I can see those being left to go to default and the person who remains eligible come Deadline Day be harassed into filling the straight slot. Then not only are they being pressurized into playing a game type against their choice but the added fact the default would more than likely go against them too.

Not everyone on a team wants to play Straight and I will not expect anyone to participate in it if they don't, even if it's Deadline Day. Would that counteract against the team? Can that be interpreted as 'refusal to play' and the default go against us too?

Just some questions I'd like to know.

No secret I want straight binned but I have to agree with keith, if it stays to have a true frame count league straight has to be 1 point the same as the rest.
been to say you'll quit if its dropped to 6 frames just proves what I said earlier to be correct, you want a format that sways the odds in favour of you and the top clans, nothing to do with accuracy, desperate to widen the gap between the top players and the socalled less skilled teams as you called them, are they really that much of a threat over 6 frames that you would quit ?

I simply want a format accurate enough to divide the top clans. It's only to do with accuracy.

He also talks about making it for everyone. But noone suggested 6 frames but him. Other than that I saw a few 8's , a lot of 10's, even a 12 somewhere I think. I asked for at least 8 (less than the average suggestion). If he don't want to do that it's obviously not for everyone, it's how he wants it.

Even you yourself said 8, and didn't have a problem with 10, until your best buddy suggested 6.

I have no input on it but there maybe needs a list of possible changes posted here in order 1 through 6 (for ie) and maybe on the clan threads too, to actually receive some input off the so called lesser teams aswell.?

I said it earlier as thats how your coming across, you want more frames because it sways the odds even more in the top players favour and you want 2 points for a game of straight that you know the top players will always win, I don't have a problem with 8 frames but straight would have to get binned then as thats 7 more than some people can handle lol

I want accuracy so as to divide the top teams from each other. There's gonna be a huge gap between top and bottom even if you play 4 frames instead of 6.

I dont mind 8 frames of each and leave straight at 2 or 3 frames, but it would have to be 1 point per frame to stick to your true frame count league,
Could still add killer with the scoring being 3,2, and 1, there doesnt need to be 8 points like the main game types for this to work, I would probably get back into clans if this happened.

That's ignorant of another post I made. I explained that a game of straight isn't a frame anyway. It contains many frames.
along with it requiring over twice as much time as a frame of other types....
Why shouldn't it count as 2 points?

If I play you at straight and you win, how many wins does it give you on your stats, pretty sure its one so should only count as one.

You didn't complain about 2 points for a game of straight until keith announced he was against it! You just wanted less straight.
Aren't you 2 the only ones who have voiced a problem with it? I'm surprised it's even an issue. Before that 2 or 3 seasons with indiv matches, FBl always gave 2 for straight didn't it?

Everyone might find it tolerable then?

and 3 or 4 games of stragith worth 2 points each?

If you want accuracy anyone know to be truly accurate then whatever you want accuracy in you must keep whatever you want the accuracy in the same. So if you want it to be frames then they all would need to score the same to provide the same level of accuracy, any deviation from this means you would not have true accuracy. So do you want accuracy or not?
