Was like a game of ice hockey apart from only Gk for the one side and he were facing the opposite direction. As poor as Sunderland were all credit to Southampton playing some delightful football of late.

Arsenal sooooo lucky scrape a draw vs Hull City, West Ham look pretty decent, Chelsea although a great goal by Cesc they were not that impressive, Aguero City put on a masterclass how to finish hope other useless strikers were taking notes.

Today I predict QPR to win 1-0 and record their first win and Stoke to draw 1-1.

Wow...

That first half... Not sure Liverpool know it's a 1:30 kick off, I can't see one player who has played even alright for us. We are lucky to be in the game still.

Need a massive improvement in the second half here, and for his sake we need Balotelli to grab a goal and relieve some of the pressure on himself.

I personally would take Gerrard off and put Coutinho or Markovic on, and then take Can off about 15 mins into the second half and put Allen on.

Hopefully the reds can make a massive improvement and take a completely undeserved win (given the performance so far) and give us some momentum and belief for Wednesday.

If we perform like this vs Madrid it will be even more horrendous than many already think it will be.

Also having looked back through the forum... ash you have predicted Liverpool to draw or lose every game so far this season (with the one exception of Ludogorets I think) it just made me laugh is all.

Think I may have just had a heart attack watching that.

I suppose it was a thrilling end to the game for any neutrals but jeez we need to learn how to defend set pieces...

Mignolet probably Liverpool's best player and any one of Fer, Zamora, Austin or Sandro (before he went off) was by far the best on the pitch.

As I hoped we nicked it and got a completely undeserved win, but 3 points is 3 points at the end of the day, I will take that!

Hopefully we can be more convincing it future, tough luck to QPR who were by far the better team, but hey that's football for you.

Stoke City: Nice dive from Moses, 5.8 I'll award that one.

Liverpool: Under no circumstance did you deserve to win today, QPR were by far the better side. Play like that this coming week and Real Madrid will obliterate you.

Balotelli crap, Sterling typical diving, surprised lasted as long. Surely nearly missed his milk carton break.

Feel sorry for Swansea and Qpr alike.

Really? You going to bring up something that happened nearly 20 years ago? Against a team who were one of the most dominant teams in the world back then?

Shall we go back 34 years ago when we beat them 6-0 missing two penalties?

Difference is, ours was decades ago against world class opponents. Not 2 days ago against an over-achieving Southampton side who had 9 players returning from international duty around the world....

Clutching at straws as per usual, Craig. No wonder Wickham doesn't want to sign a new contract.

Oh so you were dumb enough to pay to watch your beloved team ruined and outplayed again and again. In all fairness thats the only sunderland game i'd ever pay to watch.

But well done, you should be proud.

It's a nice gesture but really the players should dock their own wage after such a dismal performance? As should Balotelli, never haven't seen him play (oops sorry be on the pitch) as crap as he were yesterday.

Come on United tonight nice win over an in form WBA, 3-0 would be nice, Berahino, Brown (Ideal) and Dorans are their main threats.

Should be a good match.

Sunderland were unfortunate to concede 8, should have only been 5 or 6.

But I don't see why the players should have their pay deducted, would the fans pay them double if they won 8-0? I doubt it.

I missed the liverpool game, so can't give my opinion, but from what I've read we shouldn't have won, but did. Isn't that what every team looks for?
When playing bad still find a way to grind out a win.

After watching Real Madrid the other night, it's either going to go one of 2 ways, either we get destroyed or the players raise their game like
We normally do haha.

Good 2-2 with WBA - We were abysmal in the first 10 minutes, couldn't get the ball. Fellaini changed the game but defence is once again abject. Fellaini's goal were pretty good as were Blinds, but goal of the match goes to Sausegnon. Great finish.

Don't know why only started with 1 striker tbh and Januzaj is soo over rated, he needs go out on loan.

Sooner defenders are bought in the better, Rafael good at going forward, naff defender.

I'm sorry but I fail to see how one of the biggest clubs in the world can see a 2-2 draw against West Bromwich Albion as a good result.

I think it's laughable really!

With the abject defending as I posted in previous message then a draw vs a very capable front line with Berahino and Sausegnon and having to retrieve a deficit twice then a draw on that premise seems good.

I agree totally with the magnitude and status from one team over the other but United are still in their transition and one match does not take away the fact we simply have no defense at the moment. All will be good in the end, 1 point is better than none.

Watched the game and I think a lot of teams would have struggled to contain the front line of West Brom, but they have dodgy defenders, and with one of the most expensinve front lines in the world, then they should have put 4-5 past them.

I agree but to only play one striker RVP then that were a mistake to me. Falcao should have started and Young in Januzajs place. But oh well hope Di Maria's okay for easy weekend fixture lol vs none other than Chelsea. Uh ohhhh lol.
