Huge win for your lot there Craig! Good to see young Connor score and create one.

Cisse saving Pardew for another game and Liverpool scrape the 3 points. Berinho looks a promising player though!

Good win for Liverpool yesterday, great performance by the midfield and athough there were a few suspect moments in defence we were rarely threatened other than long range or set pieces.

The penalty shouldn't have been for them but decisions go for and against teams every season, we had our fair share last season which were soft or shouldn't have been so it evens out. Not sure it was the ref who gave the pen, I know he blew for a foul but then looked to the linesman who looked to give the pen. Or so it seemed from the Kop end yesterday, I haven't seen the replays yet.

We still look a bit flat up front but playing Lambert as a lone striker just wasn't going to work, he has no pace so can't really run at the defence, he held the ball up well and a couple knock downs, I also think he is putting too much pressure on himself to get that first goal.

Balotelli looked good when he come on, got stuck in had a few shots created chances for others, probably done more in that 15-20 minutes than in any other game for us.

Gerrard had a quiet first half but his second half was brilliant. We need a new keeper, Mignolet seems scared to even try and catch a ball, everything that come his way yesterday he either punched or parried, whether that was down to the power/curl etc I dunno.

Sterling looks tired, has done for about 3 games now, needs a bit of a rest.

Henderson and Lallana were fantastic.

Skrtel and Lovren a few suspect fouls.

Johnson looked good when he came on.

Sterling looked like he has done for the past 5 months, terrible,

last season mignolet was fantastic and he would continue to do so if he didn't have to do so much due to the terrible defence.

Gerrard just looks done im afraid, he just has not got the legs anymore, Johnson is not the greatest but he does a consistent jon, should of started with him, Ballo keeps doing the same thing, there is a reason Henderson is not making the runs into the box like last season, he will pass to Ballo and he will shoot rather than look for a run, rather than apologise he just keeps his head up like he is the be and and end all, Still think liverpool were a very long way away from their best but a good win against a decent west brom outfit.

Villa held Man city for 82 minutes, it took Toure to be at his best in the last ten to win it for them, i have said all season to me Man city do not look like title contenders, Arsenal get a win today and they are right back in the hunt.

Good win for sunderland against Stoke who seems to be struggling a little bit, and Cisse saving Pards job for at least one more game.

Was a good day of football yesterday.

Bring on today.

need to him sign a new contract
seems to be dragging his feet a little

always believed in him, just didn't understand why we never played him earlier in his 5 year stint

Great performance lol, scraping a win vs WBA. They were lucky more than great. Good goal by Lallana though. Even commentators said their were a flatness on the pitch and in the stadium.

If you read properly I said great performance by the midfield. Henderson, Lallana and Coutinho by far the 3 best on the pitch with Moreno not too far behind them, and Gerrard was good second half.

If you also read properly you would see that I said we were flat still, the defence was suspect etc etc.

Seems like you just picked a few words and made your own sentence up.

As for scraping the win, you must have watched a different game to me, although not very entertaining, Liverpool dominated the ball, dominated the midfield and created a fair few chances was just the finishing which lacked. West Brom also rarely threatened as I also said in my last post, other than from long range or set pieces.

United vs Everton...

United dominated for a bit but other than that has been 50/50.

Decent goal by Di Maria.
Bit lucky with Falcao's goal (not the finish, just the assist which was a poor shot really)
Baines not scoring his pen having previously had 14/14 in the prem.

I think a draw would have been fairer here but hey ho.

2-1 as it goes into injury time...

And David De Gea keeps United in the lead a few great saves.

Absolutely great weekend of football, some big results at the lower half of the table.

Impressed with Burnley, showing great character to come back twice from losing positions.

United looked ok in spells, but De Gea was different class today, he will be Spains number 1 for the Euro's, no doubt about it. United 4th in the table, looks good for them, but I will wait until they have a decent team to face until I pass any sort of opinion on where they mat end up this season, could still shock a few people, but maybe not in an entirely good way...

Liverpool were not bad, should have won it comfortably, shame about the ref giving a pen and ruining our chance of a much needed clean sheet, but at least it didn't affect the positive outcome of the game and keep us looking up the table.

Chelsea looked amazing again, if they do not win the prem, it will be seen as a massive failure on Mourinho's behalf.

City did what they needed to, but if Richardson had have converted his great chance, then they may have only walked away with a point...

Great result by Sunderland, Wickham & Fletch look like they have been given a good kick in the backside, and its paid off, keep Fletch fit and you could finish around 12/13th? Possible

Awesome result for Newcastle, it looks more and more likely that the players are finally playing for Pardew, more results like that please!!
