As a natural striker he's one of the best finishers in the world, prolific, pacey, clinical, precise, creative ONLY two in the similar position would be Ibrahimovic and Aguero

Messi and Ronaldo aren't Out and Out Strikers, neither is Bale.

Falcao aged 28

Appearances (including as a sub)...229
Goals ... 138
Average return... 0.60 goals per game

Luis Suarez aged 27 (stats from soccerway)
Appearances (including as a sub)...278
Goals ... 177
Average return ... 0.64 goals per game.

If you weigh in Suarez's contribution to the team, his assists, winning a lot of free kicks and penalties too I know who is have.

Better goals per game, more assists, more of a team player.

I'd say he was better than Falcao in that position.

On the topic of Jack Grealish I read earlier...

Seen a bit if him before looks a real talent and he showed that on the weekend, hopefully he can get into the starting 11 and people will see how good he truly is. Bad thing for villa though if he does make the starting 11 more often I can see him off next season if he shows his true potential.

Stats are good...but they don't mean anything really. City only failed to score at home once in 70 games before Saturday....

I didn't say he wasn't prolific just I don't think he'll be as prolific as you think in the Prem. No offense to any of those leagues, but they're all 2 or 3 team leagues with the rest of the teams at a Championship level. Plus the Premiership is a tougher league physically.

Just can't get my head around as to why Van Gaal hasn't begged, borrowed or stolen a decent CB....it's where they're desperately lacking and where the problems lie??

Haha. I'm surprised they didn't try and sign the 'sweeper keeper' in Neuer

im not a fan of wellbeck but i think the move for him to goto arsenal is so good for him .. with ramsey, wilshire, cazorla, ozil, chamberlain and walcott(when fit) around him he will get his 15 chances a game to score a goal....

spotsnstripes yes your right as soon as Grealish starts to play more regularly he will be off but as a smaller club which unfortunately is what we have become we cant do anything about that,

the money gap between the top5-6 teams compared to the rest of the league is absolutely outstanding nowadays, and of course money leads to trophies which is what everyone plays football for

I think we definitely needed one or two CB's but I actually think they will be purchased in January along with Kevin Strootman. Has the loan deadline passed? May have a CB incoming now that Falcaos all sorted.

I think LVG believes that with Blind as DMC then the defence has someone close to lay the ball too. Jones is quality, Smalling aint too bad it's Evans I don't like but Rojo might be what we need. He can tackle, a little too aggressive at times but I'm still confident will be quality.

The reason we have lost and not performed were our 3 player defenders would try to spray the ball forward with no accuracy, gifting possession to the opposition who have hit us on the counter attack. Darren Fletcher has given the ball away way too many times. Now Blind can play DMC the possession will be retained and hopefully none of this long ball rubbish when United are reknown for pass and move.

RVP will be out for 4-6 months supposedly due to a knee operation, Falcao will be awesome, Di Maria, Herrera, Mata, Januzaj, Rooney all creative players, Falcao will thrive on the service. He is perfect for THE BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD AND TEAM!

IF we don't sign a CB we have Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Tyler Blackett (promoted from within), Rafael, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo. Only one I'd replace would be Evans.

United WILL BE back and BRING ON QPR!!!

Wow, just reading the numbers on this Falcao deal, and they are astronomical.

His wages are £1m per month, the loan fee of £5m plus bonuses, mean that United are paying about £20m for his first season of football..

But something interesting has come up, that the deal is not just a loan, there is no option of a buy at the end, United HAVE to buy him at the end, for £55m (minus the £5m upfront they have paid) so £55m for a 28 year old striker, you really have to hope that United make the top 4 this season, no champs league and you are going to have to sell sell sell.

i dont mind him on loan that was never my issue ... on loan it isnt too bad .. but 8 million for him was terrible.

he still aint a great player but may add some form of experience in the middle.

United Signed: Ajax Defender - Timothy Mofu-Mensah too - Well there's our defender lol - bit on the young, inexperienced side though lol.

Meant to be a very very good player/prospect. Signed for a snippet 300K
