It's a short term solution to a long term problem. Just got over a bad knee injury, surely ou need someone young to mold into a replacement for Rooney/RVP. Rooney threw his toys out being second fiddle to RVP, I guess bumping up his pay package is your next move

Great signing if he stays injury free, should be able to adjust to the prem. Not necessary though. You need your defence bulking up though. All well and good throwing money at attacking players (who are being sold not enticed), but it'll get you nowhere with a defence that bad.

He's on 301k a week with Monaco, he's not gonna go down a significant amount and the likelihood is it'll rise else there is no need for him to move with the length of time on his contract. Which would mean between three ageing strikers you spend 1 million per week

Rooney is more prone to strops, at least Balotelli can be positive in the community giving his money away to a good cause, unless you count the charity of elderly escorts as a good cause
