In the past, defaults were looked at that way. Only since the SL came around did people even think it would be genuinely possibly since it eri nearly managed it first time round.

I would agree that for now they are a certainty, but it doesn't mean that they can't be kept to a minimum. I've seen some good ideas on discussion threads, and as attitudes and opinions change then the rules should be altered appropriate to the majority consensus.

7. PARTIALLY PLAYED GAMES

7.1 Definition
A partially played game is a game in which at least one frame is completed, but fewer than the complete game format.

7.2 Scoring
A partially played game is decided as the current result + defaults for the remaining (unplayed) frames (see Section 8)

7.3 Disconnects during games
In the case where one player logs out / gets disconnected in the middle of a game, that player normally loses the frame in play. The opponent is encouraged to be sporting and replay the frame, depending on how far the frame was played but is not obliged to.

7.4 Aborted games
In the case where a player has to abort the game (for whatever reason), both players are equally expected to maintain efforts to get the remaining part of the game played by the deadline.

7.5 Substitutions in partially played games
Once a game has started between two players no substitution may normally be made. The exceptions are 1) where a player has been banned, has deactivated or has been removed from a clan - in the event of a player getting banned/deactivating or being removed then the game may be continued with a substitution from the clan whose player left; and 2) where all parties (the players and the clans directly involved) agree to a substitution being made. In either scenario there must be agreement to whether the score continues from the point the previous one was suspended or whether it starts anew from 0-0. Any agreements from both sides must be recorded in a verifiable format for the avoidance of any later dispute.

If a player deactivates and decides to reactivate their account after the game has been completed they are then not allowed to re-join that clan until the following season. They will also not be classed as a free agent and will not be allowed to join another clan until the mid-season transfer window or the end of the season.

We've not berated the runner, we've expressed our dissatisfaction about the way some people mess others about in a clan league which is what truly ruins it. Another is when people post without reading what has been said much like you have here since it was Chris that first pointed out the rule break that occurred. So have a read of the rules before you say something which is as clear as day is unwritten.

I'll make it easy for you:

Davy was 3-0 up against Ash and wanted to start again another time on his own computer.
The next day he was then subbed out and the game was played.
According to the rules about partially completed games, for this to happen Ash would need removing from the clan or both our players and captains consent to make the sub, and then the score to be agreed pre match and it to be recorded so as to be verified. It was not. Therefore the rules about partially played games have been broken.

Don't kick up a fuss then tell people to move on, you hold no authority.
