to me i say regardless of any rules we could call on, let em have it anyway, if ive lost at owt in life regardless of foul play or owt tha takes it on chin and learns the lesson, honesty and other attributes always prevail in the very long run, so leave it at that imo

That was retrospective, and is simply thanking your clan for a sub being made. The issue wasn't that. It was that the game had been partially played already, we didn't know that so we couldn't consent to a restart.

Show me where it was agreed Ash could sub out, or the score was to be reset as it states in the rules.

Davy agreeing to wipe the games and start anew means it wasn't even a partially played game at all.
He made the decision to wipe those 3 frames out so score was 0-0 as decided by the players.....not a partially played game

the rule specifically states it requires both the player and the clans agreement. If Davy agreed to wipe the games, wonderful but under the rules its not just up to him. if uprising wanted to take the 3-0 and claim the remaining they could.

if 2 players decide between themselves to have some friendly games can 1 clan decide to count them as a clan match?...what's the difference?
If 2 players have some warm up frames between themselves can 1 clan claim they count against the players wishes?

they weren't friendly games or warm up games so this point is utterly useless unlike mine.

The bottom line here is that Uprising had the opportunity to say that there was no verifiable mutual agreement from both the players and clans (ie those running the clans) to restart the game from 0-0 with a subbed in opponent. Had they done so, then the game would have been reset to 3-0 with the original opponent.

They have chosen not to do that, so therefore the result stands.

As I posted yesterday, I would probably have claimed the rest of the original unplayed racks under the same circumstances which would also have been within the rules.

I think the rules have worked OK here but if they can be improved further then it will be considered.

I'm happy for the result to stand. I'm aware that we could've taken action, but the result isn't so important to me. It was much more important to me to draw attention to what Ash did, and getting messages of support from every other clan including his own has made it worthwhile. There is nothing essentially wrong with the written rule.

When are we going let him stop taking the <removed> out of us with his excuses tho, that's the most annoying thing. I really don't see the point in clans existing over here anymore.

The only person I needed to explain anything to is/were Chris the League Runner which I have done so. Also me and davybaumers have spoken and the match is over and done with.

All other posts are irrelevant, continuous posts using my name in a negative or as a negative is/are verging on borderline harassment.

Any further posts along those lines then the perpetrator will be reported for exactly that. I have just as much RIGHT to be on this site, do what I do, play who or when I like, log on to play some pool and have some fun as long as no rules are broken as anyone else.

The constant mentioning of my name or the negativity about/surrounding me needs to STOP as it's not me BREAKING the site rules, it's you. Plus you're ruining my funkypool online experience and you have no right to do so.

There's no excuses at all for leaving a game at 3-0 down, you had it planned what you were going do when you were getting spanked before the game even started, and we are the mugs for not making you pay.

You aren't a forum moderator or admin, so threatening posting rights being disabled is against the forum rules. You are just as guilty as anyone else for bringing the forum into disrupt, you were even warned by the league runner a few pages ago, so don't bother trying to play the victim.

People have their own right to post their opinion, nobody is trying to get you kicked off the site or ruin your funky experience. If you treated people with the same respect you demand of others, you'd end up with it back. Just don't expect it to happen overnight.

You didn't need to explain anything, rules were broken and Chris made his ruling based on us not opposing the game being played. Doesn't mean we aren't allowed to post our discontent.

Actually you did break the rules ash. You required the player and the clans permission to start from zero and make the sub. You gained only one persons permission. Lucky for you uprising are being nice to your clan.

You wouldn't even be aware of any agreement had their player won so don't try pretend you know anything. You know nothing.

We're you in the pool room? Were you mediator between myself and their player? No is the simple answer to them.

Oh and Zante I weren't threatening anything not surprised you took it that way. Were simply posted words on a screen which are RULES we ALL must adhere too not just the select few.
