'Rejuvenate'

Well the 27th has been and gone
News I dreaded to hear
Cancer has now taken hold of my mum
So the fight starts now, I feared

She has a very rare form and needs to shrink
Before they can operate, to improve
The chance to remove the whole link
And my mum's life can rejuvenate.

I don't know how I feel, just want it gone
Am I angry or just bemused
That something so deadly can now be in my mum
Just wish with love it could be removed

So here's to the best woman that I know
So proud to call her mine
Let's all pull together and hope it don't grow
So she can radiate and continue to shine.

Just an Online Game

Unfortunately it's not all that surprising,
And the usual suspects are as ever the same,
The bickering is really pathetic,
See who's first to say it's only an online game.

Does that make them feel so much better?
Than the other who then calls them a name,
Back and forth they swing their pretty handbags,
Again fighting.....over an online game.

Can they seriously justify any accusations?
Constantly whinging is there no end to this rain?
Matters not who you play just get it sorted,
Like I said it really is......just an online game.

So I'm sitting on the sofa, damp from the bath
