Today we have snow its freezing outside,
Want to stay under the duvet close my eyes n just hide,
But work is a calling so off i must go,
Im my pretty wee wellies to head for the snow.

Im busy today lots of ppl to see,
I knock n open the door with a cheery "its meeee"
They light up with a smile
And say pls stay for a while

So on goes a cuppa and have a wee chat,
And while im there i'll just feed the cat,
For caring's my job i love it so much,

Can make such a difference to someone who's old

as I look into the sky
a crash of thunder
a flash of lighting streaks across the sky
then a cold breeze hits my face
the rains begins to flow
