absoloooootly love it!! ang fer funkypoet laureate!!
givus a title,
make us think,
make it a good'un,
that'll drive me to drink!
I woke up yesterday, with the hangover from hell
I was iller than the illest man in the world
I came down stairs and sat for a while
If I moved I would have hurled
Then it hit me, I remembered what I'd said
"We'll definitely go to the beach in the morning"
The head was throbbing and I could hardly focus
I was so tired, I couldn't stop yawning
I was thinking of excuses why we couldn't go
Or things we could do instead
Then in they came, bouncing through the door
Remembering every word I'd said
So off we went, hanging out me hoop
With me towels, bucket and spade
Praying they'd play together having fun
Leaving me to suffer in the shade
Shade on a beach? What was I thinking??
So I covered us all in cream
I lay there frying, wishing it was me bed
Was nice and peaceful like a dream
Three kids on the beach, as if that's gonna be peaceful
But at least I'll be nice and tanned
Next thing I know, they burst out laughing
And me whole body's covered in sand
If I'd had the energy, I would have played the game
Burying all three of them neck high
I doubt I would have let them out though
Walking away and saying good bye! lol

Loadsa great poems ive just read
Id of been happy with two or three
But the thing id like to read the most

there's a place here in funky,
it's very quiet and still,
it's similar to a mountain,
and brain activity is nil,
there's a mouth quite like a rivers,
yet the water flows through tears,
if you ever end up anywhere nearit,
you may need to drink a lot of beers!!!

I didn't like the place not one bit
But to stay away from it i will keep er Lit!
I wanna say thanks for each and every poem
Shows you never forgot the friendly irish knome
I will try hold back from now on in
And let all the garbage rest in the bin
I will be a different person now i'm here again
I have learned to breathe and count to ten
Actually writing this shows i mean it

I'm saddened by dishonesty,
you'll find it rife online,
some run-ins you will have on here,
will make it obvious who are the swine.
you'll get name-calling or even threatened,
so easy from the safety of their home,
take note you're sitting in a far better place,
and those muppets probably sat....all alone.
so what do we do when it happens?
answer back and feed all their crap??
ignore is the best option for those poolers,
who wanna play.......without all the flack!
you'll find it rife online,

I've not been here, for a few days,
Learnt a life lesson, crime never pays,
Went out last Friday, had more than a few,
Had a crash the next morning, and then I blew,
Over the limit, I deeply regret it,
No lasting injuries, except when I sit.
To the police station, now an offender,
Fingerprints and palm prints all over the roller,
I just sat there, thinking of my mistake,
Wishing I could go back, wishing I could take
back a hours, and do them all again,
not be so stupid, and wait until when,
I was safe to drive, but hindsight is great,
This is my punishment, next time I'll wait
Learnt a life lesson, crime never pays,

I had to write that poem, get it off my chest,
I wsh it hadn't happened, and I was saying it in jest,
But alas it occured, life lesson learned from it,

Hope you have learnt
Drinking and driving don't flow
Such a silly and irresponsible action
This ain't you I know
Drink drivers I have no time for
Hindsight's great when able to apply
You really got lucky with just an injury
And no one need to die
Drink driving should not be in same sentence
Innocent people are caught up at their expense.
Whether old or young its no way to go
By someone so selfish who thinks they own the road.
I'm sure lifes taught you a lesson
Engage brain and listen
When I think even one drink's too far
STAY away from a bloody CAR!!!

for the last couple of months,
I've been on a nightmare of a ride,
so much crap goin on around me,
and true love that has almost died,
a new chapter has now opened,
I've got a smile back on my face,
thanks to a gorgeous funkpooler,
in a dress......styled in black lace!

Let loose your entire repertoire.
You can sigh and moan and curse your luck.
My pov? You dogged the duck.
And when you see I'm on the hill,
Recommence your sharking drill.
Too bad, these moves won't help you none.
It's clear by now the battle's won.
No doubt, you nit, you're done, done, done.
It only makes me bear down more.
