this is the season we all wait a year for
a plane for the rich a tent for the poor
sunshine a blazing the kids being amazing
summers here so get on that pier

Summer

It's a popular time,
For many it's true,
When people are off,
Relax and have a few,
The kids are off school,
Some happy, some bored,
Trips out with the family,
To fun parks and the shore,
But there are some, like myself,
Who are troubled at this time,
Cursed with an affliction,
And feel the need to hide,
The heat of the sun,
Upon my 'fair skin',
Has caused me many problems,
Would drive me to gin!!
For alas there are factors,
Usually 30 or more,
I sometimes sit and wish,
For the rain to come and pour,
Skin burnt and very sensitive,
Don't dare call me a whinger,
For I'm proud of the fact,
That I.........am a Ginga!!!!!!!

Although I am not ginger
I know exactly how you feel
my skin burns very easily
Bright red and then I peel
I never spray it on
I cba with all that lark
I walk around like a ghost
I swear I glow in the dark

once I first join I never had a clue to ignore n who to indure
but now now I am wiser n its clear to see
the only one I need to ignore is me
I like all my mates and some like me
but getting togeather is never I see
I like a good drink
and some like it too
I like these peeps coz we are on the samewave length norm I say bye n wave them off to the next round thay go but I sit n say hayhoo
if iot was me id be a winner lol not to be
instead I sit in chat n be the sinner
but these friends I know I like n take comfort
n some how I now thay take comfort too

I bow and applaud, just coughed up coffee,
Reading this poem, I laughed and let out a pee,
For i love a laugh, and these poems are great,

in all honesty my reply,

is to enjoy and have fun,

gets so bored so now using the threads
i dont pretend to be the best poet
but enjoy the trying just so you know it

Boredom makes some funnies, feelings sometimes overflow,
It's a way of release, my favourite I'm sure you know.

I have encountered many people who have come and had a go,
All sorts of different styles that everybody has to show,
Nobody is ever hurtful, we all just like to share,
The poem thread is one for all that's if you really dare.

There's a lull in the posting,
Poems run dry,
Has the novelty wore off?
Or did everyone die??!!

Funky Discipline

There's rules and regulations,
No matter where we go today,
Some very strict and very silly,
Crazy Health and Safety comes into play,
On Funky it's the same,
Even though we're not that real,
Well that's depending on how you look at it,
It's not exactly how this user feels.

I've come up against some controversy,
It ended up with me banned,
It was a silly one, just some joking,
Which got a bit out of hand,
My fudge production got some banter,
My good friend jay said I was a packer,
It deteriorated from there,
And lumpy lost it, and he went quackers!!

All in all no-one argued,
It was just a bit of craic,
My ban lasted all of ten minutes,
I didn't get much flack,
To be honest I couldn't have done much,
For I'd ended up in tears,
A great laugh with many funky friends,
Chilling out and having a beer.

So now punkyfoolers punishment,
Is one seemingly not so extreme,
To me it's very frustrating,
What's the point in being seen??!!
No chat when you've been muted,
Can't even wish 'good luck'
Just be careful who's around you,
Coz those sneaky ones don't give a damn!!

I once was a funky delinquent
I did not like to tow the line
I was forever being booted or banned
The price I paid for doing the crime
Was always effing and jeffing
Abusing mods and admin most days
I've grew up since then though
And stick to the funky ways

i have been known to cause trouble and strife
grown up alot and finally rid of the wife
so here i spend alot of my time
Fran an expert in doing his mime
ban me mute me i dont mind
people who know me know im kind
sitting above in there white coats
mods and admin please take some notes
