No you are right - there is never a need for a bye with 2 fixtures released each time. Each team plays 10 matches over 5 two week periods - 10 weeks in total.

I shall reply to this as Jay asleep and despite him asking me to wake him up he needs to rest.

When there is an odd number of clans the generator we use automatically issues a BYE each fixture. Rather than faff with the schedule matching up all the stragglers, we just give clans a BYE. We thought that clans might appreciate a single game rather than 2 as there were 3 leagues ongoing at the time we did the schedules and it's a lot for clans to manage.

Basically what Jema just said, there was three leagues at the time of doing it and by the time Super League decided to postpone it was to late to even change it.



In this case there is no right or wrong way in doing the schedule as both work just as well as the other.

Happy it is like this now to as the clan cups start after the transfer window, so some teams may have two games and some may have three.

You can do it anyway you want but was just showing that the bye-less schedule is very simple to do. The real advantage of it kicks in if, unfortunately, any teams were to fold.

Can i suggest maybe a rule being brought in where no swap reversing is allowed until only 2 games remain in that particular fixture. UT could have had a game done and dusted last night, but a swap reverse was being made. Ive seen this happen before and games have ended up going to default because of a lack in captaincy understanding. Or just pure ignorance.

At the end of the day, we want to keep defaults down, but by swap reversing and only playing an opponent of their choosing, defaults will keep happening. Im not saying this is a solution to defaults, but it will help keep it down to a minimum. And i know not many defaults are happening at the minute, but i think there would be even less.

I like this idea as on the whole it would stop this pro-game release swaps that TBH are matching up players to get the best result and if a captain of the opposing clan was say a bit slow on the uptake would see it as a legimate swap not realising it was calculated.

Can I ask and yes this is motivated by posts on another thread (though i do not have an opinion about it) and something that happened to us recently.Is match fixing or picking your opponent by subbing in a stronger player or removing a player against the rules?
I believe it should be and have never done this but know a clan have done this to us this season and people have mentioned this on another thread. (Once again I do not have an opinion on that situation)

Can I suggest captains show respect to all other captains (even stand-in's) by showing decency and common courtesy to their players. A sub should not be permitted if a player has subbed themselves in and took their time to contact their opponent. Surely at least a given period of 24 hours would suffice. Also just because someone is on line does not necessary determine they are available to play especially if they are in a role with a clan.

I have to log on in order to send posts to my players, does not mean 'hey I'm on-line bombard me with messages'

If you bothered to read it properly you would see a few faces next to it, usually means its a laugh or a joke but in your case i guess not. You never even tagged the player you tried to insult before hence the be a man and offline message as at least then he will see it!!!

Askingfan was in a clan already and from my knowledge asked to be removed, this is why he is not classed as a free agent or anything of the sort.

The rule needs worded again as i mentioned a while back that part of the rule was to stop the likes of myself purposly getting removed from UT just so i could be classed as a free agent, if i removed myself i wouldnt be classed as that as it was down to me.

If you go and sign clooneman tomorrow then it would go through as a free agent and be fine.

Asking fan made himself clan less (from what i had seen) and also the deadline passed on window. If Punk posted that last night at 11:59PM it would have been accepted.

im sure askingfan hasnt been in a clan this season, and i think its bit unfair for him to get removed in that way. with what i know he has been part of UB in the last season, not this season though

I don't see why i need to keep going over this.

I have been on the website and checked the log on team changes for it, askingfan was removed from the website and Unbeatables team this season. The only reason i know this is because the site is wiped clean every season and new docs are used and things. So anything done this season is logged on there until next season when it will disappear as it will be wiped for the new season.

well if u have a look on the team changes m8 u will realise he was removed the previous season.

i know this well cause he had to play a game against Uprising and he was removed from the team who was facing us
