As far as I'm aware (99% sure on this), that compared to the format before ranked tournys, the tourny ranked games became 1.2x what it used to be, and normal games became 0.6x what it used to be.

resetting the ranks would annoy me as adam is defo the best player ever on uk 8.

Beating low rank in general theres probably none better, but the top class players he'd often struggle with. In UK theres some players that'll beat you before you get a chance to play. Adam isn't one of those, he's a very good player, but gives you a chance to play which is always dangerous in 8uk

he beat the best all the time mate i watched him and his stats speak for them self, ive been around for years and hes defo the best player ive seen with the whole package

I've been around for years too, always felt that beating him wasn't a hard task. Amount of times i played him, he won more purely on me missing simple shots for 7 ballings/runouts. He was a good safety player, but that doesn't beat the best.

Ask the people who can run the rack and the great potters, they would rate him as a good player, but easily beatable

erm ok il ask myself lol im one of the great runout players (14 in one day record boomyaaaaas) and i think hes still the best, my opinion.

I personally think he is the best overall UK player and i have seen him beat a lot of 'top class players' on numerous occasions.

as for great players and potters, here is my opinion,

Adam is a great uk player, he has beat me more than i have beat him, also a good friend, now adam will agree with me on this that his potting ability on the US tablkes is poor, and the fact that he is inconsitant in those game types speaks for it self,

onua OVERALL a good player,

ok ok so ive been thinking and i'm pretty sure the highest ranks are irrelevent these days as it's harder to rank up even if your ability is great.

The old days you could be in the 850s easy and still be a newbie so :/ looks like it needs resetting after all to be up to date with the new system...

Well I did get in the 960's in UK with the tourney ranks so it is possible

do it again, now it is impossible, adam, since you have doine that, the rank you gain in tournaments nowdays isnt as much as it was, but you stilol lose the same amount, if not more,

yesterday i played in a 9ball billiards game, i didnt play against a newbie at all,

in my favour 1 had won 5 frames and i lost 2 frames

in the end i was down 7 points, even though i won 3 games clear,

I thought the rank changes came in when tournys became ranked?
