There's no need to do that. Everything is being done on a provisional basis at the moment just to spread the work.

Super League III provisional launch date is now Sunday 7th October for the Preliminary Round of a Cup competition. Full Super League III season will still commence officially on Sunday 14th October.

Super League III kicks off for some on Sunday with Round 1 of the Arcade Challenge Cup.

This is a new competition and is purely a little bit of fun which, admittedly, will not appeal to everyone.

The Cup Tree is as follows ...



However I am still waiting on an invite issued to The Inpossibles to take part. If they decline then Fighting Eagles will receive a bye to the Quarter Finals.

The basic game format is 5-a-side. Each game is two racks of 8 Arcade and four racks of 9 Arcade (6 racks in total).

Each 8 Arcade rack won plus each event achieved in 8 Arcade scores 2 points. Each 9 Arcade rack won plus each event achieved in 9 Arcade scores 1 point.

As always an event is a Golden Break or Run Out.

If, after all five games have been played, there is a draw then a tie-breaker takes place.

The seeding system for the competition is purely for fun and based on my own opinion with no previous experience to draw upon.

Please can the clans in Round 1 let me have their teams of five by 8 pm Saturday night then hopefully can get games out after that.

That is Underdogs, Legend Killers, Mouseketeers, Ninja Warriors, Fighting Eagles and, hopefully, The Inpossibles.
