There was an option for a transfer window on the poll, it was not the majority vote, therefore wont happen

i thought that the whole idea of the poll

all players should be able to move once in season if there wish to
players would not leave a team that is doing well that all ifs and butts

captain should not have a say in it if the players wishes to move on that why the transfer was brought in

I've been reading back and I honestly think the whole thread has gone mad, people that said they would accept the decisions now looking for loopholes to argue about, trying to make everything so hard, if this is what the league is all about now maybe we would be better off without it, new runners come in and all people want to do is make it hard for them, why does anyone bother even trying to run this league

The new rule clearly states each player can move once per season, that should be the players decision, not the captains, they should also be allowed to play against anyone for their new clan, I see Craig saying he will still say no if needed and stop a player playing in the league, sorry Craig but any player that stops another playing shouldnt be allowed to captain.

i felt like this most of the season which is why i debated playing in the FCL next season, still now im not 100% sure as my personal opinion is it doesn't feel like a league but hopefully the new runners will change it for the better

i think its chilled out now compared to what it used to be but i think the transfer is pretty much sorted.

The only time it is hard is when rules are open to interpretation, or arent fit for purpose, which means league runners have to step in and make a decision based on opinion which will immediately be opposed by the wronged party.

Have clear rules and you remove all of that. Some might not like the rules but at least they know what they are.

To be fair I think most have accepted the vote result. There were discussions on tweaking but I think those mentioned cause more protential problems than they solve.

chris, hopefully the league runners have asked you to step in and help with the wording of rules.

The main problem with the FCL is theres too many unofficial league runners, people that want too much say in how its run and trying to get the rules to suit them and their clans, and before anyone says, yes I've had plenty and sometimes too much to say in the past.
When someone creates an event in the event forum on here its usually created and players can accept the rules and join or not, its not lets debate the rules for 10 pages first, whys the FCL different ?, its just another event created on funkypool, the league runners are called runners because they run the league, its time they took back control of the clan league, set out the rules then let the players decide if they want in or not, if they don't like the rules don't play in it, simples.
If the league is run by the right people being more assertive this could be a great league and could run for many more seasons.

99% of decisions the league runners make you call stupid, do me a favour and come up with a full set of FCL rules how you think they should be and we'll all have our opinions.

agreed again boy ab your on fire today i also agree that league runners need to be tough and strict, something i haven't got really, my will and determination is slowly dying so hopefully Jay and Jem will do a better job next season which from what i have seen so far they will do just need to be a touch more stricter

about chris rewording i think Jay was planning on doing that unless Jem does it for him as i think we can all agree Jay's wording is poor

To be honest I think we have had enough of this topic, we all have our opinions and we are going to stand by them. I put full faith in Jay to make the right decision for the league but it will be based on the outcome of the poll...

He did have other topics he wanted us to discuss so lets try and give him some feedback on those things shall we?

i think only number 3 needs discussing, the majority think to scrap completion bonus (unless they changed their votes) and defaults panel is pretty much concrete from what Jay told me

about win bonus has its advantages and disadvantages -

pros - more incentive to win games
con - its more than the frames so people would focus more on winning instead of playing ability

ab not that i am complaining because your input is very helpful and i respect why jay asked you to get involved but you mention league runners taking back control over the league but you had a HUGE say in how the schedule should be next season... just a tad hypocritical

Absolutely. I think it was moving in that right direction for a long time but suffered a few recent set backs - loss of the evolved rules from janmb's site for one, plus some other issues.

Sorry Jem but loads of people already gave there opinions on all the above in the previous discussion thread, go back get their answers then as league runners make a decision, is there really any need to go over these again and end up with another 10 pages of debating ?.

rules are always changed for the better, some are discussed others are not, just the way it is.

Just wanted to get off this topic, Jay has not been on all day and is going to have to come on and catch up on this nonsense, we are just going around in circles. I have read and will take in everyones views if asked by Jay my thoughts on this new rule. I have some ideas and I think that with a little negotiation amongst the league runners we will get to a rule that pleases the majority.

Once the new rule has been released... like it or lump it clanners... ab says we should take back control, well that is what i am going to do. This league is not a popularity contest so I do not care anymore if I end up hated

I gave my opinion to Jay because he came to me and asked as you clearly state, if someone asks me in pm for my opinion why wouldn't I give it, please explain how that is a tad hypocritical ?
