1. Ricks not refusing to finish and has been online the last few hours, he'll be back after hes eaten he said.
2.deano refused to play the minute he deactivated, he didnt say lets finish tomorrow then deactivate, if he reactivates I hope they do finish.

yeah key word in all this is IF so IF rick didn't play tonight, IF deano reactivated.
im not a mind reader by all means i was using examples of how scenarios change and how the change can effect the bonus outcome.
thats why i said league staff discretion then if they feel that team deserves the bonus points then it should be awarded but the votes only happen if that problem game is the only one left.

As I've said, deactivation and banned are easy done but refusal to play gets messy and it can be a bit tricky to prove.
Maybe all defaults need looked at no matter what the reasons then a decision made by the default panel on whos fault it is and whether the bonus points should be given out.
If a clans not at fault for any defaults they should get the bonus, they shouldnt lose out because of the opponents fault.
So yes I think if Seb and Rick dont finish if one is to blame the other should get the bonus.

Others would argue against making such a change during the season.
I wasn't for this on snooker, because as we see here it can get very messy, especially with refusal to play. I would've preferred if bonus points were scrapped completely, rather than this.
The completion bonus was designed to get games played. If they don't get played, there's no bonus (logically). If it becomes all about the points, then maybe it's not serving its purpose.

He has been in game, for a few hours as I was in pm with him. he sat in the chat room for abit and if you check his results he played some friendlies.

normally i wouldn't but something as urgent as this needed to be added imo.
anyway up to you guys i feel a league staff choice would be more fair but if you want bonuses as it currently stands then thats fine as well, if you want it based on ban/deactivate/refusal then fine.
some scenarios like Seb's can be hard to monitor as one like Damien's would be a little easier.

I say keep the bonus as I think it does help get games played, I just think that if the last game goes to default the default panel should decide whos at fault and who should get the bonus.
no matter what the reasons, for example if Seb's match doesnt finish and Rick is at fault Seb gets the bonus, reasons dont matter, if a player is at fault the other gets the bonus.
I just want a clear rule we all understand and know where we stand, not a rule that is at whoevers discression.

16:12 Mon 21 Nov 11 (GMT) [Link] Well to my knowledge if u add a player to ur team list before midnight on Sunday it should be eligible to play on the next fixture i add this player around 9pm on Sunday so it doesn't matter if u release the fixtures early or not he should be able to play on this fixtures ?

they wasn't released early though, usually Sunday Evening to add someone usually means ineligible as the fixtures are posted that afternoon normally

End of the day it's still a match completion bonus it should only be awarded to teams that haven't completed a game if they didn't have any chance to complete because of their opponents.
Giving it to a team who made more effort to get the last game played regularly would be wrong.

doing division 1 golden cue now (from scratch to make sure ive not missed any).
might do add cup to golden cue tonight and ill do division 2 tomorrow afternoon.
league tables done (without the defaults so far but default scores + if any bonuses will be added on thursday).
when im done ill make sure to do it after each fixture so its not as stressful at end of fixture.
im finding it a little difficult to sort (prob browser issue so will prob try on IE later)

im for bonus points being awarded i think its a good thing to get games played
However we need clear direction
i dont agree with some comments regarding players leaving fixtures
i think any player leaving a fixture for whatever the reason should be penalised if its in the last 3 to 4 days of a fixture, they have had 14 days to play a game the team has 15 players to complete 8 matches
however if the player states he will be back on and makes reasonable efforts to play remaining frames then review it using the defaults panel.
My reason for this is clear a possible scenario
Winning the league, relegation or winning the cup
Could these be won or lost tactically by a player pulling out of a fixture with one or two matches to play. by not awarding 10 bonus points, that is why in my opinion players should be penalised for not completing games.
Either that or scrap them all together
And I stress could the above happen,,,
