I'm for this change as well, but I think nobody can ever argue again that changes shouldn't be made during the season. We heard that about a million times over the last two seasons...

Gotta agree with this, i agree its a rule we need and it appears everyone is in favour of it. But we really don't want to be changing rules during the season, hopefully if we do this is a one off.

Well, my opponent is refusing to play the remaining frames (I'm 4-1 up) until tomorrow. He says that it was because I was rude and have no manners, because I only said "gl", not "gl mate".

I'm guessing this will be covered by the rule change we just made? If it doesn't get finished tomorrow, it will be due to his refusal to play.

lol yeah, I felt so dirty when I realized what horror I had committed. I think I might deactivate because of it. If I was a mod, I'd ban myself.

depends if the rule is for all defaults or just deactivated, banned and refusal to play as discussed.



Going by that post hes not actually refusing point blank to play, he did say tomorrow. not sure if the rule will cover you missing each other now.
Tricky one as your the only person thats said hes refusing to play, really needs him to come out and confirm or deny hes refusing to play anymore, deactivating and banned are easy but refusal to play is tricky.

Just had the most incredible conversation.

So after the 8US games (4-1 to me), he refuses to play the other games until tomorrow.

So 4-1 to me, with the rest to be played tomorrow hopefully.

i told him i be onto today i had to go cause of family matters well if he saying of cause of this the default goes my was iv seen loads of players that have not finish a game and continue the match for less reason then mine and i had a good reason when he only ask me late last night

Anyway, want to finis them now?

the bonuses will be up to the league runners (or default staff if they choose), of course if the person in league staff is involved with a team what is playing then they would be excluded from the vote.

Depends on what you understand by refusing to play. If he refuses to finish it one day and then never comes online again, is that not refusing? That's why it's up to the defaults team.
(and that's also why I was against it originally on snooker)

it will be based on that but some scenarios doesn't cover the above which could also count.

Seb's one is quite tricky, as big_mouse said he didn't want to play because seb was rude, and play tomorrow which is fine but if they didn't play then what would you do?

like in the MVP fixture if deano reactivated tonight would MVP still get the bonus points?

my own opinion is yes but scenarios can change in a heart beat something which the above doesn't cover.

the league staff could easily say no to Seb if they didn't play, same with Damien imo its down to a non biast opinion.

questions i would ask myself.

- does the team in question deserve the bonus points?
- does team in question has had any effect through deactivation, refusing or ban?
- how long did the process last?

etc
