Me and Rick don't get on at the best of times but im struggling to see why he may not be able to captain a clan which he is supposed to be making or whatever.

Rick has more season experiance than i do, after my ban i came back and captained Crazy Eights straight away, i just couldn't play for the one month rule thing! Surely he can captain as he has the previous experiance from his last account.

Rick can make any clan he wishes as long as he has the experience required, which he has.

To those who were saying that I said that both captains had to agree fixture swaps that is incorrect, at no point have I said that. The fixture swaps are solely decided by the captain or vice-captain of the clan making it, however, if the league runners feel there has been any wrong doing we reserve the right to block that swap.

I've been out all weekend so I've probably missed half a dozen discussions, anything else I should address?

problems with it

swapping - doesnt say if both captains has to agree
naming - doesnt say if you can name if you have captains permission
experience - doesn't say if previous names count with the season experience to captain a clan.

these 3 rules has caused some issues.

Swapping, both captains don't have to.

Experience, one season is the required amount. As far back as I can remember, back to when pot_the_lot was in charge, previous usernames have always been taken into account for the 1 season experience.

Naming, same with the previous post. I remember when I was first setting up Cobras I had a similar situation, at that time I went to the captain of the other clan asked for his permission, which he granted to me, then I went to the league runner at the time (pot_the_lot) and she gave me permission to as well so at that stage I was clear to name the player.

Sadly I've not heard of one captain doing this recently, they all seem to want to do it their own way.

true, we got permission through UT captain to name our players.

should we have to run it through league runners also?

In the past, experience has meant on a current name - because it can be impossible to say with 100% certainty that a new account is the same person they are claiming to be when the old account is gone - even when the person is bellieved to be the same person who has experience, but the rule is in place to stop people without experience captaining a clan which they don't fully understand how to - if it is clear that a person can cope and knows what they are doing, then i don't see a problem allowing them to

does anyone know how to do masking on yola? as i don't want a forum with list of rules, something like FCL site would be perfect where you click a link and that section comes up.

a way i could do it is on google docs have each section as a separate sheet but it would be too long.

Need to apply a little common sense and most of the time you can tell pretty quickly

If experience and previous accounts is being taken into account for captaincy etc, why can it not be taken into account for the "1 month rule"?

1 month rule stops people deactivating all the time and playing straight away, it was 2 months at one point but was lowered to 1 month due to popular request from the public

1 month rule is there for a different reason. It's there to prevent people deactivating continuously and making hard work for the league staff. Whereas the 1 season experience rule is there to make sure captains have knowledge of what playing in the league entails

Considering you've already named two you'll be on a warning just like the other clans. As there was no visible evidence from their captain giving permission to be named

They were named in the opening post, no more harsh than the warnings for snooker squad or chips n gravy

Really, even though ab_rfc and horse10000 spoke to our current captain antione08 before even creating the thread. Ask him yourself if he let us name ourselves, as we never named our team just us four running it. Which Top Dogs captain allowed us too, I will get Ant to post and say he gave us permission so you can take away the warning.
