The only thing i would say to do (without the thread being capped) is try and get a mod to mediate everyone, so then all the personal parts of posts people don't seem to be able to leave out can be cut out by someone impartial

For swaps, i think a fair option might be for at least the first week that both captains must be aware of the fixture change and agree to it, or it at least be posted on the thread and there to see for at least 12 hours if there is no captain about, then the last 3 days or so of the fixture, no consent is needed if the captain is not online

That way you can keep the unlimited fixture swaps, and both captains would be happy

i think it should be a swap can only be made when a time zone issue arrises which is why it was introduced in the beginning

I wouldn't say it was being used tactically, it's being used to get games played straight away while 2 players are on at the same time

It is hard for it to be considered a time zone issue, as it is much more complex than that - people may be in the same time zone and have problems, sometimes people are online at different times to what they normally are. I Can't see it being used tactically, because that would mean trying to play one certain player against another because you know they would play against them well... thats never a certainty with this game, and another sub could be made to counteract it

the only reason time zone was introducer was cause people lived in different parts of the world
you make a rule then change to suit people
