New - As a means to combat time zone problems and the like, captains may swap two players within a match if this improves chances of games getting played. This does not count towards the maximum number of subs allowed. These are subject to approval by the league runners.
Its a bit late to decide approval after the games played and if league runners aren't online at the time. I'm only annoyed because tozzie waited 4 hours to play zeus, when zeus was the one that set the time for 8pm gmt z.
He then had to play when tired, could he have refused the swap or can I swap any fixture I like and the opponent can't contest it ?

Colin i understand why you are annoyed mate, don't understand why tozzie played if he was tired though he has the right to refuse a game if he want's to go to bed or soemthing.

craig, yes i did approach your player, when i originally asked him to join it was next season i had in mind, then me and huts got talking and decided we'd ask you to release him now, i didnt do anything behind your back i came and asked you in pm "can i have huts" you said "yeh np" then changed your mind and decided not to release him. thats fair enough like ive already said youve got every right to keep him.

as for naming them, they named themselves first, then yes i named them afterwards.
i have no problem with you keeping them til the end of season, youve still got your 2 players til the end of season, what the hells the problem.

The issue of captains both mutually agreeing was never discussed or changed only the amount of fixture swaps that can be made was changed. I was online till after 2am and dext had ample time to discuss the change as toluca was also on, I even played him after the str tourny and no mention was made then.
Kev always said both captains had to agree and there was no change to this so please tell me how the swap can be valid ?

It wasn't in the old rules though blueberry as you saw and like I said before nobody has had to have the other captains approval for the last 2 seasons at least.

I have always been told otherwise and the league runners never discussed the mutual agreement of both captains when fixture swapping.. so surely the rule still stands as its never been discussed or changed by league runners ?...

Yeah but colin point is toluca and tozzie can get it played, if tozzie is finding it so hard to play zeus then dextr made a good decision even if he needed Craig or whoever to confirm it with.

The swap is supposed to be to get games played how would that ever happen if you need both captains and the players online every time?

theres been rule breaking for two seasons if what you say is true as kev and dgen never discussed or changed this rule.. its as simple as that.

ill talk to kev about see where we go here.
the rules certainly need reworded so everything is covered as its not at the moment.
i know your mad mate as zeus never turned up but it could be a timezone issue and if it is a timezone issue i wouldve let it stand if not i would look for reason first but as the game was played i wont look into cancelling this swap.
if tozzie was tired he shouldnt have played as we have a week left yet.

You can't exactly blame zeus for tozzie waiting 4 hours, if they don't show up within about half an hour, then you don't have to wait longer for them. Unless you were already planning on staying on anyway - in which case you wouldn't be waiting for them anymore, theres no reason for someone to wait that long
It's as simple as that? It's as simple as reading the rules... league runners can change the rules anytime they want, for any reason they deem fit... I'll check back to see if i can find anything about it though

posted on cobras for kev to look into this and maybe reword the rules so its all covered.
for now as game was played i see no reason to cancel the sub.
