I agree it needs to be swapped around occasionally and quarterly sounds good. Maybe it can be swapped the same day the clocks change, and midway through the bits between.



Good point. TournaPoints were brought in to even this irregularity up somewhat. Whereas those in peak times can win the big TournaPoints those on non-peak can get a few tournament wins. It is a balance, I think it's quite close now.



If you can't make midday or midnight UK time then you should be able to occasionally make the rotating one, plus the rotating friendly tournament if you're just after some straight games.

If they are rotating thats perfect but the midday and midnight ones are hard with my shift work. this is why i grew to like rotating tournaments.

i know this is slightly off topic but can you take a look at a similar thread on snooker nick as we believe on snooker its all based on one type and not spread evenly like POOL currently is at the moment.

but POOL tournapoints system is perfect as on here you get pretty much same entries throughout the day (differences can be made at early hours though).

Lol you basically did what I wanted, having UK tournies divisible by 3, the only exceptions are straigh at 12 and a random tournie on 6 or 9.

Now only if you would make arcade ones more often, for example half hourly...Dunno, since it's new and great for newbies, why not?

Come off it they've got their share!! We've lost quite a few randoms and other matches it's looking fair now

Right I've altered the schedule for the hourly times now. 9 ball arcade slots have random multi-discipline tournaments for the interim period of a week or so.

I'll add the half hourly schedule in tomorrow about midday.

Not till 8 ball arcade has settled a bit more. I'm giving it some time for ranks to level out, people to lose their newbie tag, any game defects to be resolved etc.

With the new tournament structure though is it not better waiting until 9 ball arcade is in?

Why? Just means extra multi-disciplines for a little while.

I just thought with 9 ball arcade awaiting to be introduced aswel as on the tournament schedule it would be better waiting but no real problems with it. I guess it will be a good way to see how it's going to be.

4 9 ball arcade tournaments is too much

There's 8 actually, and it's the same for every single discipline.

That's fine with me, i just hope its kept like it is now with it forward a hour each day as for me i may miss some tournies sometimes but at least it isnt on a monthly basis kinda thing. I think the rotating tournies is a big hit.

Well now it's half rotating, half fixed, so although it's a bit of a compromise, it should be acceptable to everyone.

At the risk of getting told off for going off topic while all the tourneys are being changed could you make it so people can only enter one at a time?
Do it myself sometimes too but when you're in the quarters/semis of one you enter another or a micro just in case you get knocked out or get a bye.
It does ruin the other tournaments though, amount of no shows in micros is crazy because of it and some people just do it constantly.
As I was typing then got a bye in the hourly and nearly joined the micro 8 ball would have probably got to the final before the invite but had to leave, it's not really fair doing it and like i say i'm a culprit too.
