That's a good idea, but I think it's neater to have at half past, this way it's a maximum of 30 minutes till next tournament, plus the half past ones can catch people knocked out early in the hourly ones.

Reason I said speed and randoms to start at quarter past though is because they would be finished before the next hourly starts.
Doing it the other way with the arcades later they probably wouldn't be finished as they're best of 3 frames in each match whereas randoms and speed are 1 frame.

I like it too.
With so many Friendly tournaments though, are there any thoughts on including them as tournament wins? Nice achievement/reward to appear on a new member's account if they win one - even if they only count for 'newbie' accounts.

Would it being shown on the event page suffice? It would then stick for 6 months.

Yeah would be good to get the people knocked out first round into the next one was just thinking whether a speed/random starting at half past would be done in time for the next hourly especially at peak times, looking at last nights 8 ball speed at 7 that took 45 minutes.

Nicer to have on your front page for a new member I think. Shows you have achieved something - a bit of personal pride maybe. But whatever you think is best.
Or a simple medal on your profile to show that you have won any tournament - obviously different design to the TournaPoints one. One colour for a ranked win and another for a friendly win. Just one medal - not one for each and every win!!

So maybe other numbers for friendly (and micro as it's been requested often) tournaments? I'm just a bit confused how it would work otherwise with only newbies eligible to win. However I think there should be no leaderboard for these stats (or it would dilute normal tournament wins).

I wouldn't be too concerned about the numbers won or leaderboards. My only thoughts are for a new member to feel like they have achieved something if they win any tournament. Might give them the incentive to carry on for more I think.
If they win a 'proper' tournament at any stage they get the win stat, which is good enough, but those are rightly hard enough to win - particularly a first one. If they were to get some recognition for a friendly or micro tournament win that would be good. Or maybe I am just talking rubbish!!
Needs input from new members or those trying to win first tournaments or playing friendly tournaments really to see what they feel.

How often would the main list that you have added be changed or would it stay in that order until clock change as before.
Could it be rotated quarterly to freshen up the tournies available for those who play at the same times every day?

Why not every week at the same time bump them all forward an hour?

the structure for the tournys seem ok , but i think the souther hemispere tournys have sometimes very few entrants and it appears its more a european site as ,when our tournies are full of entrants the southern hemisphere can win tournaments with as little as 2 3 or even 4 , the early hour tournaments should have at least 8people or the tournament should be declacared void ,thats my opinon as some people get tourny wins for just entering
