The regular schedule is back in play now, so you actually have daily straight at midday and midnight UK time, plus a rotating and a friendly one on the half hours.

There's now 12 friendly tournaments per 24 hours for newbies. I think allowing 50 games before allowing to compete in proper tournaments is something to work towards. But the real current aim is to get more people even before they've registered, eg more people inviting friends, coming back for a few more games, etc.

Seems to me the numbers for all the tournaments are really good since the change around. UK at peak time last night had 45 in so don't think they've been devalued at all.

I think it should be back the way it was just because of the marathons. I loved playing a uk marathon at either 10 pm or 11 pm with loads of players in it. Now i never know when it is and if i do happen to catch it, it always seems to be in the mornings when theres only something like 10 people in it. Nowhere near as good.

I miss the marathons too definitely not enough of them, they're the best format IMO and being on the 25h schedule not the hourly 24 means they're getting wasted.

Why is there no 19:30 tournament?

didn't realise this was going to happen. This was a bad decision for punters like me who only log in at one time each day, i.e lunch time at work. Ive got the same tourney every day. And its a arcade 8 ball, least favourite and not able to enter it anyway as Im a newb at it.

Good news for punters who are on all the time I suppose but thats probably the minority.

Just an idea on the new structure, maybe better to switch around a couple so the same tournaments aren't back to back. Random tournament followed by random speed for example is the current set up.

ive noticed this too, 8 ball then another 8 ball, but the 2nd 8 ball is on 25 hour cycle so bound to get 2 tournaments together at some point.

8 ball uk marathon tourny at 12:30 tonight, surely thats one of the worst times possible for what i consider to be the most popular tournament on this game back in the day. I think it should be at 10:00 or 10:30 tbh. Used to get loads of people then and usually the best.

There's still as many tournaments as before that rotate. The main differences are that they are at half past instead of on the hour, and 25% are friendly.

I'm not really fussed either way , but rotation of all tournaments is the fairest way to go IMO , everyone gets a chance to play all the tourneys at some stage , we don't all live in the UK and it shouldn't be set up to suit UK players !
