An alternative profile possibility?

Change the heading 'Random' to 'Other Tournament Wins'

Then underneath you can have:-

Random 2
Micro 9

or if you wanted them broken down.....

Random 2
Micro 9 Ball Billiards 3
Micro 8 Ball Billiards 4
Micro 8 Ball Pool 2

Maybe these two ideas could go together?

The first one showing the other tournaments (Random and Micro etc) and have a spoiler breaking the Micro tournaments down?

If that is what you meant Chris.

Well one or the other really, Micros or each type of Micros, depending on what people wished to see shown.

I'm a little bit lazy myself - if I can see everything without having to click any further then great

Thats fair enough, one or the other or maybe both together with a spoiler.

But...... Nick did state that the micro tournament wins will not be credited, so if Nick sticks with that then ideas in regards to that maybe hopeless for now.

I think having the announcement for the win should be there just simply for congratulations.

Right - I've scheduled some friendly tournaments in now. They are currently the same time each day, during our peak hours:

Friendly 8 Ball Tournament 19:30
Friendly 8 Ball UK Tournament 20:30
Friendly 9 Ball Tournament 21:30

Also all the micro tournaments are now hourly - meaning 24 places per hour. They are deliberately frequent - if they don't fill it's no big deal.

Regarding stats - yes it would be an interesting stat and can see no reason why not, so I will take a look. I'm not so enthusiastic about having a leaderboard for these tournament formats though, but that's different.

Friendly Tournaments
For those that wish to play tournament just for fun, and for newbies in an event who wish to gain tournament practice. No tournament win is achieved, no tournapoints can be won, and no ranking changes occur. Other achievements like run outs, golden breaks, wins and losses are still recorded. Failure to show still incurs a loss but no ranking change. In essence similar to friendly games.

As you can see this tournament is JUST for fun for everyone and in some cases a practice before entering the main tournaments.

in other words a pointless tourny that should be replaced when it stands for nothing. Afterall - apparently the tournys are the focus point now.

would like to request though that the show all tournament results only shows the first line and not the ranking part as i like to see how people are doing but seeing the rank part puts me off a little bit

by the way this isn't a complaint but simply an idea in case someone says something.

It's not pointless for newbies nor those that wish to participate friendly games in a tournament structure.

Exactly right!

It's nice to participate in a tournament for fun and fun only, this way everyone is happy and can have a fun time without worrying about wins/losses, tournapoints and rank, plus it is good practice for any newbie.

Wins and losses still count in a friendly tournament.
It would make more sense in receiving a reward for winning but that's just my opinion.

I mean as in being created for winning the tournament in full and losing won't be much of a big deal.

As Nick said, it is just so you can participate in friendly games in a tournament structure.
